My reasons for going from only data projector & T.V. to using SmartBoard exclusively
Multiple intelligences – when kids learn more than one way they understand better – visual, auditory, kinesthetic,
Interactive – wanted kids to be more involved with lessons than just listening to stories
Technology enhancements – keeping up with tech. in their world
More fun – wanted kids to have fun when they come to library My memory of a librarian at a school I taught, she was fun
and the kids enjoyed going I want kids to enjoy coming to the library, sneak in the
learning with fun and they will always want to come back
How I began using technology Started with PowerPoint slides on T.V.& then
used a few things in Notebook Our T.A.G. teacher wrote a grant and included
me. The library had money so we purchased one. We already had a projector & laptop. Then we switched to a wireless laptop. Made all of the difference.
