Student arrival times For their own safety, students are not permitted to be in the school grounds prior to 8:30am and

staff commence yard duty from 8:50am.

Students arriving prior to 8:30am should be signed into Before School Care. This is a safety requirement as students are not supervised in the yard prior to 8:50am and eliminates

the risk of injury or incident.

We appreciate your co-operation with this.

OUR NEW SAND TRAY We would like to say a massive “Thank you” to Drysdale Rotary Club for donating money to purchase our Sand tray and miniatures.

Sand play is a holistic approach which is fantastic for children. It is fun, easy and relaxing. It allows children and adults to express themselves by using miniature objects that represent all aspects of life.

Students are able to display their inner world in a playful way. At the end of each sand play session we can take a photo of what the student has created, this allows us to reflect on changes, discuss any concerning elements, and most importantly for the child, to see and be proud of what they have made.

We would also like to say a big “Thank you” to Paul Kraus for making our new sand tray and donating materials towards this.

Amazing day today at District Aths. All students at CSPS tried their hearts out! We had some awesome individual achievements. Our relays worked so well as a team. The attitude and effort from everyone made us all winners on the day. Massive thanks to Mr Thompson and Ms Roberts for organising everything. Also thanks to Mr Hanson, Mr Mambwe, Mr Ellery, Mrs Rees, Tammy and Charlie for helping out on the day.

M.A.D. BOYS RUNNING

BREAKFAST PROGRAM A small group of senior students are Making A Difference by making toast for students before school.

The boys came up with this project and-discussed the best way to source supplies and serve the students.

They come to school early to set up then cook and spread fresh toast for any student wanting a bit of warm food before school.

Each week they are cooking around 180 slices of bread which has been generously donated by

Zoe M. from The Portarlington Bakery.

Drysdale CWA also very generously donated $200.00 towards purchasing supplies for the breakfast.

Thank you!
