    * Availability of this feature depends on upgrades to the (a) wireless network and(b) 911 calling system that are required to be installed by the local 911 responseagency or public safety answering point (PSAP); these upgrades may not beavailable everywhere within our wireless coverage area or your roaming area. Thisapproximation of the phones location and the transmittal of location information aresubject to emergency situations, transmission limits, network problems/limitations,interconnecting carrier problems, your phone, buildings/tunnels, signal strength andatmospheric/topographical conditions, and may be curtailed, interrupted, dropped orrefused. The phones approximate location is transmitted to the local 911 responseagency or PSAP while the call is in progress; this approximation is intended solelyto aid the PSAP in dispatching emergency assistance or to limit the search area foremergency services personnel. MAKING IT LAST

Your phone is a complex electronic device; think of it as amini-computer. Here are some hints that should help youextend the life of your new phone.

Phones arent cheap, so keep yours in a safe place. Keepyour phone away from children who may nd it fun to see ifthe phone sinks or oats and dogs that nd plastic-coatedproducts to be irresistible chew toys.

Water will damage your phone and accessories. Evena small amount of water such as droplets from a soda inyour car cup-holder, melting snowakes, tears of joy, squirt-gun crossre, or steam from the hot water in the kitchen orbathroom can damage your phone.

Use only batteries and accessories from the original

manufacturer of your phone. Non-approved accessories cancause damage to you or your phone and shorten the phoneslife. Hint: If its being sold out of someones car trunk, walkaway.

If your charger or any other accessory is damaged, replace it or take it to a qualifed service dealer. Do not at-tempt to operate your phone charger if it has received a sharpblow, been dropped, or is otherwise damaged; doing so maydamage your phone.
