Getting Started with CEREC Connect
To use CEREC Connect, your Acquisition unit must connect to the Internet. Contact Patterson Technical Support to set up an installation appointment at:
800-475-5036Monday - Thursday 7am-7pm CSTFriday 7am-6pm CST
All Bluecam units must be connected to the Internet per Patterson and Sirona.
GettinG StartedOne-time actions to complete before using CEREC Connect:
1. Check the Internet connection on the Acquisition unit
2. Download the software onto the Acquisition unit
3. Register with CEREC Connect*
*Note If you registered your unit with CEREC Connect more than 2 years ago and have not used the Connect feature, you may need to re-register.

Registering with CEREC Connect
1. Go to www.cerec-connect.com
2. Click on Dentist Registration

3. Create a User ID and Password; click Next
*NoteIt will take up to three business days to finalize your account. However, if you call Sirona at 800-475-5036 and you let them know you need to send your case as soon as possible, they may be able to set up your account sooner.

4. Fill out all of the fields. Those marked with an asterisk are required. Once complete, click Next.

5. Fill out your billing address. Once complete, click Next. (*Note: You will not be billed for using CEREC Connect. This is for registration purposes only.)
6. Fill out your shipping address. Once complete, click Next.

7. Your account has been created. Click on “Please log in and provide additional data” to choose your lab.

How to Select DPS as a Favorite Lab
1. Go to www.cerec-connect.com
2. Enter your Username and Password and click Log-in

3. Click on My Account and choose My Favorite Laboratories
4. Enter Dental Prosthetic Services in Company Name or 52406 in ZIP Code and click Find

5. Select Dental Prosthetic Services and click Add

When scanning in CEREC Connect, use the same process as CEREC SW. Once you have added the patient’s info and added a case:
1. Select the Tooth Number/Teeth Numbers2. Choose whether you are doing a Single Restoration or Bridge3. Choose Design Mode a. Full Contour (Nautilus Full Contour, e.max, Full Cast) b. Veneered (PFM, Nautilus Core)4. Choose Restoration Type a. Crown b. Inlay/Onlay c. Veneer d. Abutment5. Once completed, click on Select Material

6. Select your desired Material7. Once completed, click on Select Final Shade

9. Select Shade10. Once completed, click on Select Stump Shade

14. You are now ready to scan. You can go back at any time to edit the design mode, restoration type, or shade by clicking on Edit Restoration15. Once you are ready to scan, click on the Double Arrow

16. Scan: a. Lower Jaw b. Upper Jaw c. Buccal d. Other category if necessary (i.e. Biocopy, Biorefference)17. Once you are ready to scan, click on the right Double Arrow

20. You are now ready to send the case to DPS. Login with your username and password and then click Login

23. Select: a. Lab b. Return Date c. Time24. Once completed, click Add Additional Information

25. Choose: a. Gender b. Age26. Type any notes in Additional Instructions. If you are submitting an oral appliance case, please include “Leave All Tissue” in the notes. You may also attach images in Additional Files. 27. Once completed, click Add to Cart

28. Your order is now in your cart. It has not been submitted to the lab yet. To send to the lab, click Submit Cart

29. Verify your username and password and then click Submit Cart
