Getting Started with SIGMAnet Online
To sign on to SIGMAnet Online, go to:
https://online.sigmanet.com
If you do not have a user name and password, please contact your company site administrator, or your SIGMAnet account

Review current or past transactions
The ‘Home’ screen displayed upon login
shows the Online Catalog where product can be selected by category. Clicking the orange colored Account Summary tab will display
your recent quotes and orders. The Home screen can be reached by clicking
the Home link at the top of most screens.
Review quotations
1. View Current Quote (quote in progress)
View Quote
(Shopping Cart) From the Home screen, click the View link at the top right of the
screen to view the current quote. Or, click the Preview link to pop-up
a quick view of the quote. If there are no items yet on the quote, the View and Preview links will be replaced by the
message ‘Your Cart is Empty’.
Via the Account
Summary screen
From the Home screen, click the orange Account Summary tab, where
the top section displays the most current quote at the top of the list of quotes. Click the Quote No. link to view the quote details.
2. View past Quotes
Via Search for Field Enter a Quote Number into the Search for field, set the search type
field to Quotes, and then click the Search button. Any matching
quotes will be displayed in a list below. Click the Quotation # link to view the full quote details.
Via the Account Summary screen
From the Home screen, click the orange Account Summary tab, where the top section displays the 5 most recent quotes. Click the Quote No link to view the quote details.
Via the Account
Summary Menu Select Manage Quotes from the Accounts Summary menu. From the
resulting list of quotes, click the Quotation # link to view the full quote
details. From the listing of quotes, the Keyword Search feature f inds quotes where the item
description partially matches the keyword entered.

3. Review sales orders / check order status
Via Search for Field Enter an Order Number into the Search for field, set the search type field to Sales Orders, and then click the Search button. Any matching orders will be displayed in a list below. Click the Order # link to view
the sales order details. Via the Account
Summary screen
From the Home screen, click the orange Account Summary tab, where
the middle section displays the 5 most recent orders. Click the Order # link to view the sales order details.
Via the Account Summary Menu
Select Order History from the Account Summary menu. From the resulting list of orders, click the Order # link to view the sales order details.
4. Review invoices
Via Search for Field Enter an Invoice Number into the Search for field, set the search type
field to Invoices, and then click the Search button. Any matching invoice numbers will be displayed in a list below. Click the Invoice No link to view the full invoice details.
Via the Account
Summary Menu Select Invoice History from the Account Summary menu. From the
resulting list of invoices, click the Invoice No link to view the full
invoice details.
5. Review accounts receivables
Via the Account
Summary screen
From the Home screen, the bottom section of the Account Summary
area displays current accounts receivable status. Click the Aging Report link at the far right to view a list of open invoices. Click any Doc No link of any invoice on the list to view the full invoice details.
Via the Account
Summary Menu
Select Unpaid Invoices from the Account Summary menu. From the
resulting list of open invoices, click the Doc No link to view the full invoice details.

6. View reports
Via the Account Summary
Menu
Select Reports from the Account Summary menu. From the
resulting sub-menu, select one of the following report types:
Dashboard Report This on-screen report displays two pie charts, reflecting purchase
made over the time period selected: Category Summary: Item dollar purchases over the period, grouped by product
category. Manufacturer Summary: Item dollar purchases over the period selected,
grouped by manufacturer.
Purchase History Report
This on-screen report displays a sequential listing of all of the items invoiced to date, starting with the most current invoice.
Details of individual invoices can be displayed by clicking the Invoice No link.
Current Aging Report This on-screen report displays a sequential listing of all of the
open invoices (unpaid) as of the current date, starting with the most current invoice. Details of individual invoices can be displayed by clicking the Doc No link.
Serialized Asset Report
This on-screen report displays a sequential listing of all of the invoices where the item purchased is serialized. Details of individual invoices can be displayed by clicking the Invoice No link.

Lookup Product Information
The product search results screen consists of the :
Search Results Listing (right side) which displays all of the product items which match
the search criteria specified. Product Filters (top of left panel) which allow
the further refinement of the search criteria. Clicking a filter link dynamically updates the search with items that match the revised
search criteria Parametric Filters (bottom of left panel)
appear when a single product category is displayed, allowing the search results to be further refined by matching specific product
attributes.
1. Search for an item by specific manufacturer part #
Via the Search for
field
From the Home screen, or any screen where the Search for field is
displayed, enter the manufacturer’s part number for the item desired, set the search type to Products, and then click the Search button.
A search results of all items matching the characters entered will be displayed. Any matching item may be added to the current quote by clicking the Add to Quote button.
If the entire manufacturer’s part number is not known, enter at least the f irst 3 characters of the number, and the system w ill return all items which match the characters entered.
If no items match the characters entered, then the system w ill return the message ‘No Matching Products Found’.
2. Search for an item by product category
Via Products menu Click the Products menu tab to view the drop-down product category menu for hardware and accessory items. Selecting a category will display all product items within that specific category.
Via Software menu Click the Software menu tab to view the drop-down product category
sub-menu for software items. Selecting a category will display all
product items within that specific category.
Via General Catalog From the Home screen, with the Online Catalog tab at the forefront,
click the General Catalog tab on the main screen below. Next, select a product category link below to view all items matching the category.

To refine the search: Once product search results are displayed, the left side Search panel
will display additional sub-categories, manufacturers, or product types by which to narrow the results. Selecting one of these filters will dynamically narrow down the search results by displaying only
those items which meet all of the search criteria. Refine search by
item parameters
Once the search results are narrowed down to an individual category,
product attributes may be displayed below the search filters area. Selecting a specific parameter value for any of the item attributes will narrow down the search results by displaying only those items which
meet all of the search criteria.
The My Company Standards catalog is used to display any company standard products or
bundles that have been designated for your company.
Company standards will be organized by product category. The details of the standard can be viewed by clicking the customer part number link.
My Company Standards is accessed by clicking the Online Catalog tab on the Home
screen, then clicking the My Company Standards tab.
3. View My Company’s Standards Catalog
Via Online Catalog From the Home screen, where the Online Catalog tab is at the forefront, the General Catalog will be displayed by default. Click the My Company Standards tab to display products specifically
designated as ‘standards’ for your company. Clicking on an item’s customer Part Number link will display the full item details.
Product Bundles When a company standard consists of more than one item, it will be presented as a bundle of items. The bundle of items can be added to the quote in a single action by clicking the Add Bundle button.

Options Certain bundled items may be optional. If an optional item is to be
included in the bundle, change the quantity from zero to the desired
quantity prior to clicking the Add Bundle button.

Prepare a Quotation
The quote screen (shopping cart ) is used to accumulate product items until saved as a
quote or submitted as an order.
1. Create a new quote.
Begin by adding an
item
To begin a quote, locate a specific product item via a search by
manufacturer part # or product category. From the item search results, or the product details, click the Add to Quote button. Verify the Ship-To address, Bill-To address, item quantities, shipping method and payment method prior to saving the quote by clicking the Save Quote button.
2. Revise an existing quote.

From the Home screen, click the orange Account Summary tab which
displays the 5 most recent quotes. Begin by selecting an existing quote or by clicking the All Quotes link to view your entire listing of quotes.
Select an individual quote by clicking the Quotation # link to view the quote detail screen.
To add additional items a quote, click the Add More Items link in the upper left corner of the quote screen to return to the Home / Online
Catalog screen. From here, search for product items by manufacturer part # or product category, and add selected items to the quote.
To remove items from a quote, click the [X] icon at the far right of the product item which is to be deleted. The system will prompt with a ‘Do you want to Delete this item?’. Click the OK button confirm the
deletion. Verify the Ship-To address, Bill-To address, item quantities, shipping method and
payment method prior to saving the quote by clicking the Save Quote button.

Place an Order
The order screen displays the contents of a sales order once it has been submitted.
A sales order may not be edited directly once submitted. However, in some cases it may be modified by your SIGMAnet account
manager who may be contacted via the send a message link provided at the bottom of the order screen.
1. Create a new order.
Begin by adding an item
Begin by creating a quote. Locate a specific product item via a search by manufacturer part # or product category. From the item search results, or the product details, click the Add to Quote button. Repeat
the product lookup for each item you wish to order. Once the quote contains all of the items desired, the quote can be saved by clicking the Save Quote button. Or, it can be converted directly into a sales
order by clicking the Submit Order button. Prior to submitting an order, be sure to verify the Ship-To address, Bill-To address, item
quantities, shipping method and payment method.
2. Convert an existing quote to an order.
Begin by ret rieving an existing quote
From the Home screen, click the orange Account Summary tab which displays the 5 most recent quotes. Begin by selecting an existing quote from the summary listing or by clicking the All Quotes link to
view your entire listing of quotes. From the quote detail screen, review the quote for accuracy and
completeness prior to clicking the Submit Order button.
3. Copy an existing order.
Begin by ret rieving
an existing order From the Home screen, click the orange Account Summary tab, which
displays the 5 most recent orders. Begin by selecting an existing
order from the summary listing or by clicking the All Orders link to view your entire listing of orders.
From the order detail screen, review the quote for accuracy and completeness prior to clicking the Similar Quote button. This action will create a new quote that is identical to the existing order. The
resulting quote may be saved independently or submitted as an order by clicking the Submit Order button.

Administer Your Account
SIGMAnet Online provides a number of
features which allow you to manage your own account quickly and easily.
1. Change my password
From the Home screen, click the My Account menu heading to
display the menu choices. Select Change Password.
After re-entering your current password, enter your new password twice to confirm it, and then click the Change Password button to
save the new password.
2. Change my settings.
Certain settings affecting the functionality of the system may be
changed directly by the user. To view or change your current settings,
from the Home screen, click the My Account menu heading to display the menu choices. Select My Settings.
After viewing or modifying any setting, click the Save button to save the changes.
3. Send a message to my SIGMAnet account manager.
From the Home screen, click the Send Message link located on the
top right side directly below the account manager contact information. Enter your subject and content, then click the Send button to communicate directly with your SIGMAnet account manager.
