Laser texturing extends GF Machining Solu-tions’ full line up of machining solutions. Our full digitized laser solutions accurately texture, engrave, microstructure, mark and label 2D and complex 3D geometries.

Our Laser texturing technology allows your brand to make your distinct mark on your products. And, compared to conventional surface treatments using etching processes, our Laser texturing solutions offer economic, ecological and design advantages.

GF AgieCharmilles’ laser technology requires no special maintenance or replacement of small, fragile or expensive tools. Because the the texturing tool is a fiber laser, no sharp-ening is ever needed and there is no threat of tool breakage. The lifetime of our Fiber laser source is more than 30,000 hours (1,250 days).

Because the process is laser based it doesnt produce any polluting fluids, slurry or chips. And any remaining metal dust is vaccumed away.

This process is completely repeatable no matter the time lapsed between jobs or how many parts are produced. Additionally, because the AgieCharmilles Laser technology is fully digital you can easily go from one machine to another as the technology is compatible across the product line. Since this process is completely digital we can assure our client who have facilities throughout the globe that the parts will be completely identical.
