Treasurer’s Report: Jennifer reported that she had not had an opportunity to prepare the September and October re-ports as she had been tied up with the National. The reports will be forthcoming in the next few days. She did report that the numbers are not yet in from the National but reports are reflecting that it was a huge success. There were some expenses during the past month for the CPA for preparation of the tax return and for plaques.

    Unfinished Business:

2019 Specialty - at this time we have not been presented with any dates or any shows in the Arizona area. Bernie had reported that the Standard Schnauzer Club would like for us to do our National with them at Purina in 2019. The board voted no. Kim reported that she would like to do it in Gree-ley, Colorado in 2019. There is no judges panel as yet. Kim will prepare the paper work for review.

2017 National – Janine report-ed that the National will be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylva-nia. She is currently working on the contract for the judges. Luke Norton will be the show chair. Their team will start working on the logo.

    Regional Reports:

East – Janine reported that there are 26 giants entered at the regional in Maryland next week. All plans are going well.

Midwest – Mike reported that he is looking for a venue. He is considering Springfield, Illi-nois in late October 2018.

South – Melisa reported that Robin Henderson would like to have a specialty in Perry, Georgia. We will hold the date but cannot approve until we have the judges panel. They are working on the sweeps judge and the logo. They cur-rently have a donor for all tro-phies.

West – Kappy had no updates at this time.

Rescue – Due to other pend-ing issues the drafts for rescue are tabled at this time.

    New Business:

It was reported that renewal membership forms will be mailed in the next few days.

Howard has a contact that can process our e-balloting for the club. He will be contacting them to learn the process for setup and fees. We need to consider a revision to the Standing Rules for Judges Se-lection. We would like to do this by e-ballot.

Robyn Elliott will be including a Book of Champions in the De-cember 2016 Steps.

Kim mad a motion to ad-

    journ

    Kappy seconded.

    Motion passed unanimously.
