Compatibility and customer expectation

Compatibility:Because of the touch display functionality the SL910(A) uses a new communication protocol between handset and base station. Therefore the compatibility to base stations(except SL910(A)) with our standard protocol is only GAP. compatibility overview (will be available soon)

Customer expectation:Due to the touch display function customers might think the SL910H is a smart phone.But it is only a normal phone without WLAN access (no weather forecast or other apps), e-mail functionality, video player and camera. The main focus is on the telephone functionality!

Hard reset Gigaset SL910H handset

Hard reset for Gigaset SL910H handset:

•Remove the battery from the handset•Press Talk key and End Call key simultaneously•Insert the battery while pressing Talk key and End Call key and hold the keyspressed until the handset reboots. After restart the handset shows:“Please register”

Now the device reset all settings (inclusive directory and BS registration) to factory default and boots up.

Hard Reset Gigaset SL910(A) base station

Reset base station:

• Press paging key on base station and hold key pressed.• Plug in power supply. Hold key pressed at least for 25 seconds.

The base station is now set to factory defaults.The system-PIN is reset to 0000 and all handsets are deregistered.
