After a long journey, we bid farewell to the one and only – Steve Premo!
Steve joined the Grand Casino team in August of 1991, starting out in the Slots department. After a short venture to pursue the Premo Artworks Gallery in Hinckley, MN from 1998 to 2000, Steve returned to Corporate Commission (now MLCV) as part of the small business development team. He took on his forever role at Grand Casino as a Graphic Artist/Designer in 2005 and has worked with the Advertising department ever since.
Through the years, Steve has been a joy to work with. We will miss his calm cool demeanor, loud random (and we mean random) music blasting in the office early hours of the morning, infinite cups of hot earl grey tea, love
for photography, fashionable scarves, his random doodles on anything that was blank and those last minute invites to the nearest fry bread sale. But most of all, we’ll miss his witty sarcastic comments that made every conversation that much funnier – just sayin’!
After 25+ years of service, Steve is looking forward to retirement – he plans to spend his time traveling with his newly married wife Brenda and getting back to his roots by focusing on his art. With feelings of sadness and excitement, we wish him the best of luck as he moves onto this next chapter!
Chi-miigwetch for your many years of service and dedication to Grand Casino! PREMO OUT!
Please Join us as we celebrate our incredibly talented friend and colleague, Steve Premo.

1991 Kitchen We had a great waitress! Her name was Dee. Food was very good too!Valet It was pouring rain and the gal at the hotel valet worked hard to take care of the long line.
This past Friday/Saturday the large Buffet dishwasher went down. Now, that machine services over 4000 plates not even counting the glasses, coffee mugs, silverware and pot/pans every day! The F&B Team worked together to continue service to the Buffet Guests this whole time. Many long hours to run dishes to other venues and stay late to catch them up for the next day. Then we have Steve Meredith and his Team who put in many hours to get it fixed along with the Vendor that Steve got in here late on Saturday night to finally get it up and running.
True Teamwork by multiple departments to deliver “Seamless” Guest Service at their own expense with all the extra time and effort they put in!Thanks to all of you for a job well done!
Sincerely, Tony Sanford, VP of Food & Beverage

GCML ASSOCIATE APPRECIATION
As you may know, Kids Cove closed on Sunday, August 5th. Our vendor, that provided the services through Kids Cove for Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Hinckley, decided that they would not provide those services and closed on Sunday. A letter has been sent to our Guests that utilized this amenity to inform them that this venue has closed. We are currently looking for another vendor through the RFP for this service. We will keep you updated on the progress as we proceed. Thank you. -Tracy
