Gilchrist Construcon Company connues to lead the way in scheduling and planning innovaon, using the Synchro 4D Soluon for project producon planning, scheduling, resource management and comprehensive virtual 4D construcon simulaon.

This This tool enables side-by-side alternave scheduling, tracking, and resource allocaon, and is a compliment to our scheduling resource, Primavera v8.2.

Transportaon resources, located in Alexandria and Baton Rouge, are equipped to safely transport materials to support work in place.

We connually update and modernize our fleet to take advantage of emerging technologies and safety equipment, using GPS layout and machine control to streamline our work and increase efficiencies.

At Gilchrist Construcon Company, we live our vision to lead the way in the construcon industry. One example is our parcipaon in the design-build project concept. The Louisiana Department of Transportaon and Development (LaDOTD) was approved to adverze and award five contracts using design-build methodology. GCC parcipated in four of the five using this innovave delivery, and became the only contractor to be awarded two design-build contracts for the LaDOTD.

FFollowing our success in the procurement process, GCC relied heavily on the knowledge and experience of our work-force, as well as our design consultants to deliver successful projects. Both projects were completed within the alloed contract me, allowing GCC to be the first contractor to complete a design-build project for the LaDOTD.
