Who drinks what in Northern

Ireland?

73% drink alcohol

70% of women 76% of men

64% wine; 34% spirit; 19% beer 70% beer; 35% wine; 27% spirit

48% at least once a week 58% at least once a week

19% drank over daily limit (2-3 units) more than once in the past week

81% drank 14 or less units per week

30% drank over daily limit (3-4units) more than once in the past week
