The Demonstration Garden, its working crew, and their Board would like to thank you for your continued support during this 2014 year. Whether you bought vegetables at our market, attended a workshop, helped us weed, or planted a seed; YOU- made a difference. Traditionally speaking; the winter season is when they let their beds rest, focus on cover crops that replenish the soil, and help the garden be prepared for spring planting. From November 24 - February 28, the Garden will be operating on an adjusted winter schedule. During this time, Sue Middagh and Brenden Zimmer will be on winter break, so please contact the Board President, Dale Thielges, and Vice President-Ronald Welten with questions about volunteering, donating, or how to support their mission. Emails can still be sent to [email protected]. Information regarding their mission can be found on the website atgilroydemonstration-garden.org.
