EXTENSION ACTIVITY- HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT The 1st Extension Activity was con-

ducted by Department of Management

for the academic year 2019-20 held on

October 3rd 2019 at Sacred Heart

Girls‟ First Grade College, Jeevan

Bhimanagar, Bengaluru. It was

started at 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

BBA department conducted an ex-

tension activity on Human Resource

Management for the Department of

Humanities. It was conducted by

Shazia khan and Chaitanya of 2nd

year BBA and under the supervi-

sion of Prof. Mamatha, HOD, man-

agement and Prof. Santosh, Asst.

Prof. Dept of Management. The ac-

tivity was conducted in the BA

class room with humanities students

of all years. It was benefited in two

ways and the feedbacks were remark-

ably good. Since it‟s the department

of humanities they would have little

knowledge of the world of manage-

ment business and hence the topic

was taken to educate them about the

other side of the world. It benefited

them as they sat through an hour of

extra knowledge and it definitely

would help them in the future. Since it

is a very competing world outside

with vast number of pathways for dif-

ferent fields, this seminar gave them a

better idea of what other professional

fields they can master .

The PPT presentation helped the

students to understand well and

made the presentation more relata-

ble. This was a great opportunity as

in the end of the day learning was

still happening and it was through

students to students. Through this

extension activity the flexibility part

of the various departments holds

strong and it is always good to share

knowledge with others.

At the end of the activity, feedback

was taken from the participating stu-

dents. The feedback was positive.

The major part of that day was the

level of satisfaction of sharing

knowledge..
