Welcome to Lincoln!On behalf of the University of Nebraska Athletic Department and Firethorn Golf Club, welcome to the 2019 Git-R-Done Husker Invitational!

It is with great pride that we host this competitive tournament field of six NCAA Division I collegiate golf teams from across the country. It’s always a privilege for Nebraska Athletics to host home competitions and we are excited to have collegiate golf back in Lincoln.

Firethorn Golf Club, a Pete Dye Golf Course design, continues to gain recognition as a top facility in the state and midwest for both collegiate and professional events. It serves as one of the two home courses for University of Nebraska men’s and women’s golf teams. Firethorn frequently plays host to the best amateur tournaments in the state and region including the men’s Nebraska State Amateur Champion-ship, the women’s Nebraska State Amateur Championship, and the men’s Nebraska State Match Play Championship, among others.

On a national level, Firethorn has been the venue for the NCAA Division III Men’s NationalChampionship, qualifying for the men’s U.S. Open, U.S. Senior Open, USGA Mid-Amateur, the 1996 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, Women’s Western Amateur Championship, and many more.
