ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Managing services and creating value has become challenging task in emerging markets. Service sector opens numerous opportunities with challenges in global competent markets. The development towards the “Service Society” has long viewed to be just an academic vision but has already become a reality to a large extent. Innovative services drive and go along with economic change, they act as a motor for social renewal and contribute significantly to strengthening the competitiveness.

The emerging areas like service dominant logic, customer value creation, relationship marketing, CRM, Technology etc. opens new challenging avenues to continue the journey of research in the field of knowledge. It’s highly necessary to update, identify and emphasis these emerging areas. Every manager and every researcher needs to understand the quickly changing needs of customers. The Conference brings the managers and academic researchers together to prepare for what tomorrow brings.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE

To provide a platform for the researchers, industry, academia and marketing practitioners to discuss, debate and present their results, concerns, trends, challenges and best practices of managing the services in emerging markets. To understand what works, what doesn’t, and most importantly, what’s next to ensure success.

CALL FOR PAPERS

GITAM School of International Business invites authors to share knowledge through presenting their research ideas/work related to below mentioned themes (indicative not exhaustive). Individuals may also register and attend the conference as delegate without submitting or presenting any paper.

The theme of the conference is “Services in emerging markets: opportunities and challenges”. PUBLICATION

• Full-Papers of authors that are accepted having duly completed the registration process will be published as conference proceedings bearing an ISBN.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• The abstracts and full papers should be mailed to [email protected] in word document.• The paper should be maximum 12 pages, including an abstract keywords, references, exhibits and

appendices.• Font Size: 12; Font Style: Times New Roman; Space: 1.5. Authors are required to comply with the

APA style of referencing only. For details on APA referencing style, please visit http://www.apastyle.org

• The title/cover page should contain the details of Title of the paper, Author(s), contact details (address, email Id, contact numbers)
