For an A grade:Analysis of given and researched lamp is comprehensive and insightful, materials and manufacturing processes are correctly identified, functional, safety and light/power sources are fully discussed and relevant, well though out and practical suggestions for improvements are given. Sketches are highly detailed and realistically rendered. Isometric 3D drawing is highly accurate, detailed and well rendered.

For an E grade:Analysis of given and researched lamp is brief, materials and manufacturing processes misidentified, discussion of functional, safety and light/power sources are minimal, limited suggestions for improvements are given. Some attempt at freehand sketching with limited evidence of rendering. Isometric drawing is attempted but with limited accuracy.

For an C grade:Analysis of given and researched lamp is present, some materials and manufacturing processes are correctly identified but not fully documented, functional, safety and light/power sources are discussed, and some practical suggestions for improvements are given. 3D sketches are detailed and well rendered. Isometric drawing shows good accuracy and rendering has been attempted.
