Indicators① School absenteeism rates are reduced by 25% in intervention

schools in at least three of the four participating countries

② Helminth infection rates of primary school children are reduced by 20% in intervention schools in at least three of the four participating countries

③ The rate of underweight children is reduced by 20% in intervention schools in at least three of the four participating countries

④ Carries increment of primary school children in the intervention schools is reduced by 20% in at least three of the four participating countries

School health is positioned and

integrated as strategic approach within

SEAMEO INNOTECH

Relevant organisational structures of the education Ministries are enabled to

assume their planning and steering responsibility in

the context of school health. Thereby they work

intersectoral and collaborate closely with

other relevant sectors, e.g. health, water/sanitation,

nutrition.

Partner organisations have implemented and

evaluated the FIT approach in selected

schools and have analysed the results

with regard to a further expansion.
