You will also need:• Fusible Bonding• (25) 4 ¾” x 2 3/8” Hangtags (Note: These can be purchased at an office supply store.)

From the Advent Panel - Cream (A):• Fussy cut (1) 5 ¼” x 20” strip centered on the title block.• See instructions to make (25) pockets• See instructions to make (25) kindness tags.

From the Starry Basics - Tan (B), cut:• (1) 28” x 33” rectangle.• (2) 2 ½” x WOF strips. From each strip, cut (1) 2 ½” x 24” strip and (1) 2 ½” x 5 ¼” strip.

From the Holly - Black (C), cut:• (2) 3” x 28” WOF strips.• (1) 3” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (2) 3” x 8 ¼” strips and (8) 2 ⅞” squares.• (6) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding. From the Snowflakes - Green (D), cut:• (3) 3” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 3” x 45 ¾” strips.• (2) 3” x 33” WOF strips.

From the Plaid Ornaments - Red (E), cut:• (3) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 4 ½” x 50 ¾” strips.• (2) 4 ½” x 33” WOF strips.

From the Starry Basics - Cream (F), cut:• (1) 2 ⅞” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (8) 2 ⅞” squares.

From the Snowflakes - Cream (G), cut:• See instructions to cut pocket backs.

From the Characters - Cream (Backing), cut:• (2) 49” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 49” x 67” back.

Sewing Instructions1. Cut the pocket section from the panel. Iron a piece of fusible bonding to the wrong side of the pocket section. Remove the release paper. Rotary cut the pocket section into rows leaving a ¼” seam allowance along the pocket tops.

2. Cut (5) backing strips from Fabric G that match the size of the pocket strips cut in Step 1.

3. Place (1) pocket strip and (1) backing strip, right sides together. Sew the backing and pocket strip together along the top edge (Fig. 1). Flip open the two sewn strips and flip the backing strip to the back of the pocket strip so the wrong sides together. Press the two strips together to make a completed pocket strip. Repeat to make (5) pocket strips total.

4. Using either pinking shears or a decorative rotary cutter to cut the (25) individual pockets (Fig. 2).

5. Starting along the center lines, position the (25) pockets 1 ½” apart on the 28” x 33” Fabric B rectangle. Stitch each pocket in place by sewing down each side and across the bottom to make the Pocket Block (Fig. 3).

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)10. Sew (1) 3” x 45 ¾” Fabric D strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 3” x 33” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

11. Sew (1) 4 ½’ x 50 ¾” Fabric E strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) CF Pinwheel Block to each end of (1) 4 ½” x 33” Fabric E strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

12. Layer and quilt as desired.

13. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric C strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

14. Bind as desired.

5. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 5 ¼” Fabric B strip to each side of the 20” x 5 ¼” Fabric A strip. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 24” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A strip. Trim the block to measure 8 ¼” x 23” to make (1) A-Block (Fig. 4).

6. Sew (1) 3” x 8 ¼” Fabric C strip to each side of the A-Block. Sew (1) 3” x 28” Fabric C strip to the top and to the bottom of the A-Block to make (1) Title Box (Fig. 5).

7. Sew the Title Box to the top of the Pocket Block to make the Center Block (Fig. 6).

8. Place (1) 2 ⅞” Fabric F square on top of (1) 2 ⅞” Fabric C square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (Fig. 7). Sew ¼” away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 7). Cut the (2) squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 8) to make (2) half-square triangles. Trim blocks to measure 2 ½” square to make (2) CF units (Fig. 9). Repeat to make (16) 2 ½” CF units total.

Kindness Tags Assembly Instructions1. Cut out the Kindness Tags section. Iron a piece of fusible bonding to the wrong side of the Kindness Tags section. Remove the release paper.

2. Using either pinking shears or a decorative rotary cutter to cut out the tags along each edge.

3. OPTIONAL: You can tea stain each hangtag before pressing the Kindness Tag to them. Iron each kindness tag to a 4 ¾” x 2 ⅜” hangtag.

4. Slip each tag into one of the pockets and see how your Acts of Kindness will bless someone’s life. Enjoy your kindness calendar.
