Welcome to Iceland
Home for the SummerFar in the East of Iceland is the small town of Seyðisfjörður. 17km even further East, down a fjord, along a small ‘road’ and over three rivers is our summer home, Skálanes.
Skálanes Nature and Heritage Centre
• Operates as a guesthouse as well as base for student research - meeting, sharing ideas with and learning from people from all over the world
• Interested in a more sustainable way of life

Past projects have included:- Ornithology- Entomology- GIS mapping- Tourism study- BUT options are open!
