thebasicnecessitiesofhumanlifeintheaftermathofadisasterbyprovidingwater,fueland

shelter to people in need. We use local, on the ground resources to ensure a long termeconomicandsocialbenefittothecommunitiesweworkin.

Withthisletter,GlassFrogisbeginningtofulfillourpromisetoyou,ourstakeholders,toprovide

transparency,collaborationandaccountability.

OnJune2,2011,wehostedalauncheventandfundraiser.Attachedyouwillfindfullfinancial

disclosureofactivitiesrelatedtothiseventandthesubsequentfundsraised.Thenetproceeds

oftheevent,$14,294.33,willbeusedtosupportourmissionandwillgodirectlytoourfirst

projectinHaiti-VillageTournesol.

VillageTournesol,aprojectinpartnershipwithSTUDIOUNITE istosupportthebuildingofa16-acremodelcommunity,locatedwithina300-acreagro-developmentzoneinJacmel,Haiti.This

projectwillincludehousingforwomenandchildren,acommunityhealthclinic,aprimaryschool

andvocationaltrainingcenter.Thedesignhasbeendevelopedwithexpertsindisasterrelief,

micro-financing,ruraleducationandsustainableagriculture.

Thevillagewillprovide40 individualpermanentsheltersforunderservedwomenandchildren,

supportivehousing forat-riskwomenandchildren,primaryschoolserving300children from

the local community, vocational school and education programs and a Maternal and Infant

Healthclinicwithpharmacy.

Duringconstructiontime,GlassFrogwillprovidetransitionaryshelterstothecitizensofJacmel

andensurethatsafedrinkingwaterisreadilyavailable,deliveredinflexiblewatertanksupto

100Kgallonsincapacity.

This project, like all of GlassFrogs projects, will use on the ground resources to support

sustainableeconomicandsocialbenefitsinJacmel.Haitiisfilledwithpotentialentrepreneurs

whoarecapableofrealizingtangiblebenefitsthatcausearippleeffectofprosperity.Wewill

engagelocalcommunityleaderstoaidinimplementingourprojectandturntolocalresources

wheneverpossible.

GlassFrogwillsendyouupdatesonourprogressthroughouttheVillageTournesolproject.We

valueyoursupportimmenselyandappreciateanyfurtherassistanceyoumightbeabletooffer

in the future. Current opportunities include Shelter Personalization and the donation of

AeroplanMiles.

TherealityoflifeinHaititodayisthat,despitegoodintentionsonthepartofthe

internationalcommunity,mostpeoplecontinuetolivethesqualorconditionsof

makeshifttentcities.

GlassFrogandStudioUniteareworkingtogethertochangethat. Overthenexttwo years, an entire village will be built- Village Tournisol. While we are

workingtowardthisgoal,itisimportanttousthatweensurethatthecitizensof

Jacmel have access to the basic necessities, including transitionary shelter

systems that will protect them and their families from the elements and give

themtheirownspace-aspacetheycantakeprideinandfindcomfortin.

Eachdonor,whethertheyareacorporatesponsor,an

individualoragroup,willhavetheopportunitytoadda

personaltouchtotheirshelterdonationbydesigninga

22 foot square section to be sewn into the final

shelter.Thinkofitasawaytosendapersonalmessage

ofhopetothepeoplewhohaveexperiencedmoreloss

andhardshipsthatwecouldeverimagine.

All donorswill be able to follow their shelter and

theirsponsoredfamilythroughfrequentGlassFrog

updates, photos, videos and messages from the

peopleyouvehelped.
