Moon Jeopardy Rules• Choose one student to read the questions and to call on

the student who responds first, a second student to keep track of the score for each team, and a third student to serve as the final authority in case of disputes.

• Divide the remainder of the class into three teams and have the teams draw straws to decide which team goes first.

• The first round has three categories with all three teams competing; the second round has two categories with the top two teams from round one competing. The team with the highest score at the end of the second round wins. Round 3 can be used in case of a tie.

Moon Jeopardy Rules Continued

• The first person to tap the desk after the question is read will be called on to answer the question. If the answer is incorrect, points will be deducted from the team’s score and another team will be allowed to try.

• Only one answer will be allowed for multiple choice or True/False questions. If the answer is incorrect, the question value will be deducted from the team’s score and no one else may answer the question.
