Come along and listen to our guest speaker, Brooke Lenon an artist and photographer and see your child get their books. We also have school photos next Wednesday, please remember all students need to be in full school uniform. On Thursday Mrs Livingstone and our cooking teams will be holding our first 2015 Café Day. Check this newsletter for the information and what $5 will purchase. Our PLP’s are now for kindergarten and Stage 1. Come along and share your children’s learning success. Next Wednesday 25th March at 2pm is our ‘Books in Schools’ Assembly.

Come along and listen to our guest speaker, Brooke Lenon an artist and

photographer and see your child get their books.

We also have school photos next Wednesday, please remember all

students need to be in full school uniform.

On Thursday Mrs Livingstone and our cooking teams will be holding our

first 2015 Café Day. Check this newsletter for the information and what

$5 will purchase.

Glenroi Heights Public

School photos will take

place on Wednesday 25th

March. Envelopes have

gone home and will need to

be returned on photo day.

We are happy keep them

at the office if you would

prefer to send them in

earlier.

Glenroi Family Cafe is

open this Thursday.

Notes went home on Monday for the Glenroi Family

Cafe. Please come and support our school and enjoy

a delicious feed prepared by students and

community members.

On the menu we have our scrumptious sausage rolls

served with fried rice and salad. We will also have

Apple and Rhubarb (from our school garden) crumble

for dessert. Cost is only $5 per meal. Book your

table today with your family and friends. Spare

notes are available from the office if you need one.

Orders need to be in by Wednesday afternoon.

Easter Raffle

Tickets were sent home today.

If you would like to be a part of

our Easter Raffle, purchase the

tickets your child has bought

home.

Cost: $1 each

Write your name and phone number

on each ticket you purchase.

Return tickets and money to the

office before Friday 27th March.

Our K-2 Easter Hat Parade and

Easter Raffle will be held on

Wednesday 1st April at 2:00 in the

school hall.

Don't forget that we are still

asking for donations!

Looking for something to do after school? Come and join in the fun at our free after school activities. Have some fun in the sun before enjoying a sausage sandwich. When: Tuesday from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm Who: children from 8 – 18. Children under 8 must be with an adult. Where: Glenroi Ovals Basketball court.

Have you been asked if you want to get a free

computer by people knocking on your door? They are

offering a free computer if you sign up to do a course.

What they do not tell you is that if you sign up you also

sign up to a debt of up to $20,000. If this has happened

to you please contact Rachel Livingstone, Schools as

Community Centres Facilitator at Glenroi Heights

I hope that everyone has been good as the Easter

Bunny is watching!! We have been making some

fantastic Easter decorations to get into the spirit of

things. Come and join in the fun.

Each week you attend you will get a free raffle

ticket into our awesome Easter raffle. You have to

be in it to win it! We will also have an Easter Egg

hunt in the next few weeks. Don’t miss out on all the

fun!

Glenroi Grasshoppers every Tuesday from 9.30 –

11.00 at the Cootes Centre, Oxley Place

Cheeky Monkeys every Friday from 9.00 – 11.00 in

the CareWest Preschool Room at Glenroi School.

Central West Sports Volunteer Award Sport and Recreation are again holding the volunteer award to recognise the effort of volunteers in the sporting community. The Youth category (25years and under) is also open to recognise the efforts of young people volunteering in local sporting clubs. In 150 words or less tell us about your outstanding volunteer. Examples might be the extensive time they dedicate to the club, the positive attitude they bring to the sporting arena, being a positive role model, etc. Download nomination forms from the Sport and Recreation website www.dsr.nsw.gov.au or call 6362 6623. Nominations close Friday 10th April 2015.
