Code Jam 2020  Quali�cation Round sta�ing on 3 April  

Code Jam is Google's longest running global coding competition, where programmers of all                          levels put their skills to the test. Join the community and take on a series of challenging                                  algorithmic puzzles designed by Google engineers. You’ll have a chance to earn the coveted                            title of Code Jam Champion and win $15,000 USD at the World Finals. Kick Sta� 2020    Kick Sta� Round B kicks o� at 11pm UTC on 18 April. Kick Sta� is a global online coding  competition, o�ering programmers of all skill levels the oppo�unity to hone their skills through  a series of exciting algorithmic and mathematical problems designed by Google engineers.  Whether you‘re interested in learning more about coding competitions, growing your coding  abilities, prepping for an interview, or simply having fun, Kick Sta� o�ers something for  everyone.   Give any one of our eight online rounds a try, or join them all! Join our Developer Student Clubs program  Google is looking for students to be leaders on campus for the Developer Student Clubs                              program. Developer Student Clubs are university based community groups for students                      interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate                      programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome. By joining a DSC, students                                grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local                          businesses and their community.  

To open a DSC chapter at your university, apply to be a lead here by 15 May .

YouTube Live: Women@ Google - Tech Panel    Our colleagues in No�h America hosted a Women in Tech panel over YouTube Live recently.                              Click here to watch the vi�ual event, which was broadcast live from Mountain View,                            California, and hear from these women about overcoming imposter syndrome, advice for                        university students, life at Google and much more!  

 

Studying from home? Make it work for you!  Many people around the world are now �nding themselves in di�erent working                        situations, and that means students too. If you’re used to working on campus, in the library or                                  in your favourite co�ee shop, chances are you’re having to make some readjustments to your                              normal routine.   Googler Laura Mae Ma�in has wri�en a really useful blog post to give us some tips for staying                                    productive, no ma�er where you’re working.
