Product Search: Entering search criteria returns a sortable short-list of matching products including performance numbers
Personnel Search: Review and search Manager biographies Chart Workbench: Ability to see create visual representations of the data to enhance
reporting functionality. Use the Quartile charts to compare products.
My List: Permits users to maintain a „short list‟ of selected Product Profiles
Gold Our most popular product is our Premium level of service. It provides all of the features of the Silver access plus our analytical tools. Including but not limited to the following:
Custom Universes: Creates a unique list of Products to be used as analytical tools to effectively analyze a true watch-list of Managers.
Head to Head Analyzer:
Allows comparison with up to four products using all risk metrics.
Download / Upload: Choose to either download data to Excel or upload your data to the site for use in an Analysis and Charting environment. Enables in-depth analysis & understanding of the nature of a Manager‟s returns.
Portfolio Blender: Use the Blender to do what-if analysis in creating portfolios. Blended portfolios can then be used in the Head to Head analyzer or incorporated into the Chart Workbench.
Create Reports: Customizable detailed product reports; includes personalized annotations

Click on company name to display a comprehensive profile. Review detailed, qualitative information about company policies, processes, fees and objectives.

Asset class includes all the types of product searches available on the database. Scroll and Select the type of product required for detail information on it.
The Constraints change accordingly with the Asset Class. Fill in the constraints and click “SEARCH”
Click on a product to view detailed product profile.
Sort money managers by clicking column headings
The products can be viewed in descending and ascending order starting from the highest return generating product going to the lowest and vice versa
By checking the products in MY LIST the products selected will appear on the front page of the database each time you login.
MY LIST also groups together the products you want to analyze in Chart Workbench, Head to Head, etc.
Products can be sorted by Name, Company, Returns and AUM
Click on More to view all products in the selected criteria
To go back to search criteria, click on Show Search Criteria

Use the Personnel Search to find online biographies.
Click on the personnel directory to get information of the Personnel staff
Search by criteria such as Last name, Area of Expertise, Sort by company, number of years in the company or designation
Click on the name to open the personnel profile. The profile contains the personnel‟s biography, area of expertise, and contact information

Chart Workbench - Quartiles
Standard Universe for Canadian Equities, is all Canadian Equities products in the GMR database Quartile Charts
Is a range of data divided into four equal parts. The 'lower quartile' is the number below which lies the 25 percent of the bottom data. The 'median' divides the range in the middle and has 50 percent of the data below it. The 'upper quartile' has 75 percent of the data below it and the top 25 percent of the data above it.
Scatter Charts The goal of this chart is to show the relationship between Risk and Return. Ideally you want your manager to be in the top left corner, this is the point of highest Return for the lowest Risk.

Bubble Charts The Bubble Chart feature shows the “Max Drawdown” of your selected product(s). On the GMR database the Max Drawdown value represents the maximum amount of loss experienced by a fund over the selected time period. This value is depicted on the chart by the size of the bubble; the larger the bubble the greater the down turn.
Select a Z axis value i.e. Max Drawdown to Create a Bubble
To only show the firms you have chosen, select the box “Show Selected Funds Only”
Snail Trail The Snail Trail Graph charts the rolling 5,4,3,2, or 1 year calculation of any two comparable
aspects (i.e Return and Standard Deviation) over a 5,4,3,2, or 1 year timeframe. Each point on a snail trial graph represents a particular quarter‟s calculation of the selected
time period‟s i.e Risk/Return value of the product. To track the movement/change of the 5,4,3,2, or 1 year period calculation, over the selected
timeframe, the size of the points becomes larger as the quarter becomes more recent.

Create Portfolio Performance Analysis report of your “Uploaded” products or products in “MY LIST”

The Portfolio Performance Analysis Report provides clients with an effective input into their governance process. The report presents performance attribution at the portfolio and asset class levels through performance and risk return charts. The information produced in the report is important in monitoring how an asset class or manager has performed relative to the benchmark specified in the IPS and the universe of managers for the asset class. The report will prove where value has been added in the portfolio and where to find the areas of concern.
The report itself is easy to generate. It incorporates the Investment Policy Statement, benchmarks, the managers for each asset class and quarterly market values. The tool will provide the returns for each product and a return for the portfolio. The chart selection can be customized before it is output into PowerPoint. The final report can then be customized

Blend products to show current or potential portfolios with varying products and fund allocation.
Select the funds from drop down which are to be distributed and the proportionate percentage to be divided among different the money managers. Total should be 100%
