meteors are abserved to radiate from one point in the night sky

the meteors are caused by streams of cosmic debris called meteorids entering earth‘s atmosphere at extremly high speeds on parallel trajectories

most are smaller than a grain of sand, so almost all of them desinegrate and never hit the earth‘s surface
