Green Climate Fund-Eligibility

The Fund will support developing countries in

pursuing project-based and programmatic

approaches in accordance with climate change

strategies and plans, such as low-emission

development strategies or plans, nationally

appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs),

national adaptation plans of action (NAPAs),

national adaptation plans (NAPs) and other

related activities.

Drought Risk Management in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan,

Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan-

Expected that the water supply to the farm demonstration

plots will be reduced by 20-30%.

• South Asia Water and Climate Resilience Programme launched

at the India Water Week in April 2013.

Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka

• Promotion of control indicators in China for better management

of water resources,

water information- sharing platform in China’s Fujian

Province,

On-site survey and study on optimized water resources

allocation and climate resilience conducted in the coastal

areas of Hebei Province and Shaanxi Province.

consideration by 13 cabinet ministers
