What do you ultimately want to accomplish? Clearly Define your Long Term Goal. Recognize your Starting Point.
Long Term Goals
Talk with your coach about your training plan What detours and roadblocks are on your
route (Vacations, Work…etc.)? Where are the Big Matches on the schedule?
How Will You Get There?
Evaluate your progress by setting smaller goals along the way.
Long Term Goals, alone, do not provide good feedback or specific directions.
Short Term Goals
Help focus on the process of performance rather than the outcome.
