“MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAS THOU FORSAKEN ME..”For that reason too, even Our Lord Jesus Christ yelled on the cross saying, “MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAS THOU FORSAKEN ME..” This was the Christ who so glorified God, yet this is to confirm that no one actually knows the mystery of God. DOES THIS NOT CONFIRM THE MAXIM WHICH SAYS, THE MORE YOU LOOK, THE LESS YOU SEE.Even Elijah of whom it is was written that he shall not taste of death, yet he did doubt, he lamented, that the worshippers of Baal had destroyed the temple of the living God and killed the children of God and that only Elijah alone was left. God told Elijah that He had reserved 7000 who had not bowed to the god of Baal. And so, we cannot do anything on our own. This is because we are blind, deaf, lame, and we have no ability to do anything. We do not even exist at all. If you embark on 100 years of daily fasting, you will never see this kingdom, rather you would be at the same time wasting your time. Pray as you may, you will not see this kingdom. But the kingdom exists lavishly. You can go on to argue, disturb and doubt as much as you may but one thing is quite certain: the kingdom of God is now here. You can go to all the nooks and crannies of the world, causing confusion, teleguiding people that there is nothing like the kingdom of God. That will be in vain because that kingdom of the Most High God is right here.The things you are seeing were ordained by God to happen. Like one of our Spiritual Choruses says: “IT IS ONLY THE KING WHO KNOWS THE SECRET OF HIS KINGDOM.” Zacharias did not know and not even the Virgin Mary or Joseph, even John the Baptist did not know what had happened. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not either! But only the Father alone knows the secret of His kingdom. And to whomsoever he likes he

reveals the secret to. And to as many as He pleases He delegates them to go and deliver this message of the kingdom.GOD CAN USE ANYTHING THAT IS DEBASED OR LOFTY TO WORK MARVELOUSLY. YOU WILL OF COURSE NOT KNOW. IT IS MOST AMAZING BECAUSE GOD IS DOING HIS WORK. GOD ALONE DOES ALL THE WORK. GOD IS THE CAUSE AND GOD THE EFFECT OF EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD. PREACHING, PRAYING, PER SE DO NOT CHANGE PEOPLE. ON THE OTHER HAND PRAY AND PREACH BUT DO NOT CONDEMN OTHERS. GOD REMAINS THE SAME FOREVER AND HE IS THE TRUTH FOREVER.All the statements and speeches made by men are sheer nothing. All practices of men are also nothing. They have no bearing with the existence of God. Do not forget the axiomatic fact that what God has planted stands forever. What man plants cannot endure. You have learnt that Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist was from the sock of high priest. He was a devout religious man, yet at the some critical moment he doubted and

rejected God. He worked day and night tirelessly in the temple. His (sister) wife Elizabeth, too, served God devotedly but she had no fruit of the womb. They devotedly served God right from their youth to when they were well stricken in years, yet they were unperturbed, whether they had a child or not. This is the reason why when I look at you I become sorry to the extent of shedding tears for you. ANY WORD THAT GOD PRONOUNCES, PLEASE DO NOT JOKE WITH IT. IF YOU WANT TO BEHAVE AS YOU LIKE TO ANY EXTENT, DO SO. I strongly dispute this

because it is stated in the scriptures that heaven and earth will pass away, but not one jot of God’s word will pass away. Whether or not you believe that He exists, it holds no water because God exists before the foundation of the world and He will ever exist, forever. You also know that it is written yet again in another portion of the Bible, (Romans 9:16-17) So then it is not of him who willeth, nor of him who runs the race, but of God who showeth mercy. FOR THE SCRIPTURES SAITH TO PHARAOH, EVEN FOR THIS PURPOSE HAVE I RAISED THEE UP THAT I MAY SHOW MY POWER IN THEE AND THAT MY NAME MIGHT BE DECLARED THROUGHOUT ALL THE EARTH. YOU NOW SEE THE SITUATION.It becomes very clear that God is the Cause and God the Effect of everything in the world. Remember the case of Paul. From the great works God used Paul to perform, you know how much God used him to glorify himself as a result, yet for three times Paul begged God to let him pass away after he had tasted great temptation. He has said no prophecy of God will not be fulfilled accordingly. Predestination is what is prevailing now. When hopes are exhausted the Redeemer cometh. It is true that the world has lost all hopes about the coming of the Lord and has even concluded that he is not coming anymore. But what about the prophesy that a virgin girl was to bring forth the Messiah? The Messiah came when all hopes about Him had run out. But eventually He did come. Truly, brethren, all prophecies

from God whether they are yet to be given or have been given already, will be fulfilled.When you stand, derail or fall you are doing so unto God. It is only God’s will alone that has to be fulfilled. All those who lament, those who boast, those who are proud, those who are sorrowful, those who cry, they are all foolish. Have you therefore not seen how this kingdom has confounded the whole world? The births of these two personalities have put trouble into the world. Herod himself beheaded John. He had gone to places in search of John. Because Herod could not arrest or find John, he sent the assassins to him. IF YOU DECIDE TO DECEIVE YOURSELF THAT THE WORD OF GOD WILL NOT STAND, THEN YOU ARE LYING. GOD HAS NOT EMPOWERED ANY MAN. HE ALONE HAS THE POWER AND AUTHORITY. NOT EVEN THE ANGELS CAN EXERCISE ANY POWER. WE ALL HAVE TO GLORIFY GOD.WE IN BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR ARE THOSE WHO WORSHIP GOD IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. PILATE AND CAESAR WHOEVER WANTS TO SAVE HIS LIFE SHALL RATHER LOSE IT IN THE PROCESS:You should ask yourself this question: Why is it that Our Lord Jesus Christ did not keep lawyers, presidents, kings, wealthy men, millionaires and thousandnaires as his friends? Instead of that Our Lord Jesus Christ kept company with the lame, the blind, and the nonentities. Even amongst His disciples, Peter was a fisherman. Do you know that

it is not an easy thing for a fisherman to own a house? John was equally a fisherman. All the disciples were outcasts in the world. It is interesting to note that all those eminent lawyers, doctors, and judges were everywhere in Jerusalem and yet Christ did not call any of them.Up till when Christ was crucified, Caesar did not know Christ. He did not know him in person, until the day the Lord was crucified, when Pilate had to go and inform him about Our Lord Jesus Christ. It was then that Caesar asked about the young man, Christ. But by then, Pilate had already delivered Christ to the people in order to gain Caesar's favor as he presumed that would please Caesar. Pilate had actually really wanted to free Christ but for the fear of the people who demanded of him saying that, should he venture to free Christ, then he Pilate would no longer be Caesar's friend. In order to maintain his friendship with Caesar, he superficially washed his hands off with water to prove his innocence, whereas he condemned Christ and delivered Him to the people.However when Pilate got to Caesar, Caesar asked him of Christ. Caesar was suffering from an illness which he has thought Christ would heal him at his instance. But little did he know that Christ had been killed. It is said, whoever wants to save himself shall rather lose. Then for that same reason, Caesar ordered Pilate to produce Christ or else he should consider himself a condemned man

and in fact Pilate was accordingly killed that day.Many of you did not know that Pilate was equally killed the same day Our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified. Why? It is because he wanted to please Caesar. Then, if the activities of people and the things we feel were to be accepted by God, why should Pilate then be killed? Why did Caesar seek to see Christ? Why should the whole world cry in one accord, “Give us Barabas and Crucify Jesus?" IT IS BECAUSE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST HAD LOVE, HE WAS HUMBLE, HE HEALED THE SICK, PERFORMED GREAT WORKS, SPOKE EDIFYING WORDS AND HE POSSESSED ALL THE VIRTUES OF GOD. Are things now clear to you? Will you no longer call a man God, or refer to a tree as God? You erroneously refer to someone who is intelligent or powerful, as God. IF SOMEONE

IS INTELLIGENT OR POWERFUL FROM WHERE DOES HE ACQUIRE HIS INTELLIGENCE OR POWER? ARE ALL THESE GIFTS AND VIRTUES NOT FROM GOD ALONE?THE REAL NAME OF GOD IS GOOD BUT HE USES GOD TO CONFUSE THE WORLD. (LUKE 18:18-19). Many necromancers, herbalists, native doctors have many gods as well as different names for them. For example, Aristo-Krishna have their own gods whom they feed, cloth, and render other services to.THE TRUE NAME OF GOD WHICH IS GOOD, WHICH SIGNIFIES PERFECTION AND NO IMPERFECTION SHALL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. I am telling this so that you do not hope that your money or academic knowledge shall guarantee you success into the kingdom of God. Your worldly possessions, the children you have will not guarantee you entry. The only criteria for entry into God's kingdom is perfection. THE WAY AND MANNER YOU RELATE WITH ONE ANOTHER, YOUR HUMILITY, IF YOU DO NOT CHEAT OTHERS, TELL LIES, IF YOU DO NOT CHALLENGE GOD NOR EQUATE YOURSELF WITH GOD, THEN YOU ARE SAVED. Other considerations cannot lead you into the kingdom of God.If you observed critically you would notice that so

many people out of ignorance think that they are superior to God, wealthier than God, more generous than God, and they finally conclude by saying, “What is it that God does that they themselves cannot do?" SUCH IMPOSTORS HAVE NO SHARE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. But whoever is born of the HOLY SPIRIT knows that everything in heaven and on earth belongs to God. THEY ALSO KNOW THAT GOD IS EVERYTHING AND HE ABIDES IN EVERYTHING. SUCH A PERSON DOES NOT ARROGATE TO HIMSELF, THE STATUS OF GOD, NEITHER DOES HE EQUATE HIMSELF WITH GOD. HE DOES NOT BOAST OR INSULT GOD, BUT HE SUBMITS HIMSELF TOTALLY BEFORE GOD.AN ILLUSTRATION:I have given you this story several times about a certain man, (master) who bought and owned a slave as his domestic servant. He decided to set him free by giving him the liberty to operate on his own. This servant suddenly became rich and he also acquired and possessed a lot of slaves, both males and females, cattle, landed properties, among many other possession. With the acquisition of the great wealth, the man became arrogant, pompous, and full of pride. People who witnessed his sudden transformation from the state of a slave boy to the status of a multimillionaire started to boast that this man (the slave) was richer than his master. This rumor started spreading like wild fire in the whole city till the slave's master heard about

this. But he was able to comport himself with dignity, without minding what his slave and the general public said about him. This servant did not do anything to save the situation when he went about boasting to those who came to listen to him that he was a slave but now he was richer than his master. When his master could not bear the insult any longer, one day he summoned the whole community together and asked his slave to take stock of his wealth, before the people. The servant did this by counting all his assets and liabilities one after the other. The crowd which had gathered to witness the occasion gave him a standing ovation. As he continued counting his possessions he was interrupted intermittently with cheers and applause from the crowd, until finally he finally finished his counting.His master then stood up and without going too far concluded that all the wealth of his slave, as already counted, plus the slave himself, belonged to him, the master. With that he summed up his counting. After this, the servant slumped to the ground, while the cheering crowd became silent, for they were all stunned.This is the same situation in which we find ourselves. Whoever claims that he is God tell him to count his wealth and to substantiate why he says he is God. Have you ever heard that any man is God in this whole world? When you claim that Olumba Olumba Obu is God I look at you with

dismay. This is because your head is not correct. Is that what I teach you? You further ask why does Olumba bow down and knock His forehead on the ground? The answer is why should I not bow down? Am I God? We all bow down and worship the same one God. My focus is on Him because a good child takes after his Father. Have you not seen how Our Lord Jesus Christ resembles God? Through His behavior people know that He is from God. For if you love one another as I have loved you, the whole world will know that you are the children of God. This is the only way you can be called a child of God.Brethren, at the end of every preaching Our Lord Jesus Christ often concluded by saying that, he who has ears to hear let him hear. Brethren, the three texts just read out to you

summarize the theme of our lesson today. Therefore, I want everybody to listen attentively. Whenever you come in here, you make a lot of noise, you even behave disorderly. You should bear in mind that you are duty-bound to practice the teachings obtainable here. This is the kingdom of God.It had been written down that to see they would not see and to hear they would not. This is applicable to those not destined for this kingdom. This is something marvelous. It is something which has confounded the world and they should be in silence. Nobody had any eye to see this kingdom. None has ear to hear the word of God. None has a heart to accommodate this kingdom, no human intellect can ever think of this kingdom. It is the kingdom of patience, in fact, everything godly forms part of this kingdom.Therefore, money, education, human wisdom, etc. have nothing to do with this kingdom. If you embark on 100 years of daily fasting, you will never see this kingdom, rather you would be at the same time wasting your time. Pray as you may, you will not see this kingdom. But the kingdom exists lavishly. You can go on to argue, disturb and doubt as much as you may but one thing is quite certain: the kingdom of God is now here. You can go to all the nooks and crannies of the world, causing

confusion, teleguiding people that there is nothing like the kingdom of God. That will be in vain because that kingdom of the Most High God is right here.The things you are seeing were ordained by God to happen. Like one of our Spiritual Choruses says: “IT IS ONLY THE KING WHO KNOWS THE SECRET OF HIS KINGDOM.” Zacharias did not know and not even the Virgin Mary or Joseph, even John the Baptist did not know what had happened. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not either! BUT ONLY THE FATHER ALONE KNOWS THE SECRET OF HIS KINGDOM. AND TO WHOMSOEVER HE LIKES HE REVEALS THE SECRET TO. AND TO AS MANY AS HE PLEASES HE DELEGATES THEM TO GO AND DELIVER THIS MESSAGE OF THE KINGDOM.God can use anything that is debased or lofty to work marvelously. You will of course not know. It is most amazing because God is doing His work. God alone does all the work. This is why God is called, A Mysterious and Wonderful God.Pay serious attention to the three texts of this divine service read out to you. No matter how much you will strive you will not be able to get the correct interpretation of the texts on your own. Since the time of Adam until now there has been no one who really knows

what God does. You are nothing. You are only flowing like oil upon the surface of water. You might claim that you are attending a particular church denomination but you cannot correctly confirm what a church is after all. This shows to us that we do not know anything. Sometimes we behave unseemingly and we think that we are doing some service unto God, but how do you know whether you are not doing it unto Satan? And so brethren, if He does not confound the knowledge of the wise, how will He be called God? If people would know God exactly down to the last minute detail, then He would not be God! God alone is the beginning and the end. We can go to great lengths to analyze unto you the juxtaposition of Christ and God, but no one will be able to follow His rule and be like Him.It is said that we should reverence God as a Wonderful and Dreadful God, but how will we know or reverence Him? They say respect and honor and adore God, but how do we go about doing these things: we do not have the intellect and the accurate knowledge of God. If therefore we lack these qualities, how will we honor Him as we should do? At times people will decide to reverence God they will unwittingly turn around to disgrace Him. How will you be able to honor God without

necessarily disgracing and rejecting Him through your characteristics?If somebody tells you that this is the kingdom of God, and you come in here and find the whole place noisy, disorderly, full of misbehavior and a confusion, would you believe him? You will not because you will not see an iota of righteousness. On the other hand, if you are told that this is the kingdom of Satan, you will look around and there will be no indices to confirm that notion.This is the reason why John was doubted and no one wanted to accept him. This is why Our Lord Jesus Christ was doubted and none knew Him. For that reason too, John had to send emissaries to Christ to inquire again from Him if actually He was the Messiah or they should look for another. Come to think of it, this was John the Crown Witness of Christ, yet he too doubted. This sums up the theme of our Lesson today that no one can be a witness of God. For that reason too, even Our Lord Jesus Christ yelled on the cross saying,” MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAS THOU FORSAKEN ME..” This was the Christ who so glorified God, yet this is to confirm that no one actually knows the mystery of God. Does this not confirm the maxim which says, The more you look, the

less you see.Even Elijah of whom it is was written that he shall not taste of death, yet he did doubt, he lamented, that the worshippers of Baal had destroyed the temple of the living God and killed the children of God and that only Elijah alone was left. God told Elijah that He had reserved 7000 who had not bowed to the god of Baal. And so, we cannot do anything on our own. This is because we are blind, deaf, lame, and we have no ability to do anything. We do not even exist at all. If you go to some worship centers and see how people worship God you will doubt that God exists, and He is now manifesting His kingdom.PREACHING, PRAYING, PER SE DO NOT CHANGE PEOPLE. ON THE OTHER HAND PRAY AND PREACH BUT DO NOT CONDEMN OTHERS. GOD REMAINS THE SAME FOREVER AND HE IS THE TRUTH FOREVER.All the statements and speeches made by men are sheer nothing. All practices of men are also nothing. They have no bearing with the existence of God. Do not forget the axiomatic fact that what God has planted stands forever. What man plants cannot endure. You have learnt that Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist was from the sock of high priest. He was a devout religious man, yet at

the some critical moment he doubted and rejected God. He worked day and night tirelessly in the temple. His (sister) wife Elizabeth, too, served God devotedly but she had no fruit of the womb. They devotedly served God right from their youth to when they were well stricken in years, yet they were unperturbed, whether they had a child or not. This is the reason why when I look at you I become sorry to the extent of shedding tears for you. But anyway, I shed tears because I know all the things that happen daily were things that were ordained by God. God does things at his pleasure to glorify Himself, not minding whether you believe or not. Nobody believed in Jeremiah’s prophecy, yet he came and died and his prophesy was not recorded. It is not the making of men. It is the handiwork of God. He is the truth. His doings are truths, whenever He speaks He makes it mandatory for you to adhere to what He says. Any word that God pronounces, please do not joke with it. If you want to behave as you like to any extent, do so. Sometimes when revelation and pronouncement of God is given, you will doubt it and before long it will become manifest. That it why it is stated that when all hopes are lost, the Savior appears. But all

these happen so that God’s will or prophecies come to pass. IF PREVIOUSLY YOU DID NOT KNOW GOD’S REAL NAME, KNOW FROM TODAY THAT HE IS THE DECIDER AND THE EXECUTOR, THE SPEAKER AND THE PLANNER AND THE ONE WHO FULFILLS.From the book of Genesis to Revelation, you will find that every prophecy, the will of God, and plan of God has assiduously been implemented. God does not do things because we are worthy or that we look for it, but he does things to honor his name, and His will and His prophecies. God does not reckon with humans, angels, but he does things at His pleasure in accordance with His laid down plans. For this reason, brethren, if it was written of you to sing praises of God, and to follow God, you will not resist the call. You will do so without any persuasion. If on the contrary, no matter the persuasion from any angle, you will not budge. John’s disciples told him of how his disciples were following after another. But John replied that none can have anything save it be given him from above. But now in this world, there is a misguided conception that any person can do anything on his own accord. I strongly dispute this because it is stated in the scriptures that heaven and earth will pass away, but not one

jot of God’s word will pass away. Whether or not you believe that He exists, it holds no water because God exists before the foundation of the world and He will ever exist, forever. You also know that it is written yet again in another portion of the Bible, (Romans 9:16-17) So then it is not of him who willeth, nor of him who runs the race, but of God who showeth mercy. For the scriptures saith to Pharaoh, even for this purpose have I raised thee up that I may show my power in thee and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. You now see the situation.It becomes very clear that God is the Cause and God the Effect of everything in the world. Remember the case of Paul. From the great works God used Paul to perform, you know how much God used him to glorify himself as a result, yet for three times Paul begged God to let him pass away after he had tasted great temptation. God the Father holds the key to all things and does things at His pleasure. But what about the prophesy that a virgin girl was to bring forth the Messiah? The Messiah came when all hopes about Him had run out. But eventually He did come. Truly, brethren, all prophecies from God whether they are yet to be given or have been given already , will be fulfilled.When you stand, derail or fall you are doing so unto God. It is only God’s will alone that has to be fulfilled. All those who lament, those who boast, those who are proud, those who are sorrowful, those who cry, they are all foolish. Have you therefore not seen how this kingdom has confounded the whole world? The births of these two personalities have put trouble into the world. Herod himself beheaded John. He had gone to places in search of John. Because Herod could not arrest or find John, he sent the assassins to him. If you decide to deceive yourself that the word of God will not stand, then you are

lying. God has not empowered any man. He alone has the power and authority. Not even the angels can exercise any power. The vow God made to Zacharias and his wife that He would do something for them, God fulfilled it at a later part of their lives. And this only child they gave back to God for God’s devotion. And this child is one in a million. You can see therefore that God’s proposal and plan or thought are not like man’s. Do not ask for knowledge or wisdom like Solomon did. Even with the wisdom, Solomon came out to be the most foolish and abominable man. Do not ask for power from God like the men of old did. Though God granted them the power, they utilized it

wrongly to destroy the handiwork of God. Do not ask God for anything because you will become stupefied when you wrongly apply such a gift.That is why it is stated that you should not keep your treasures before swines otherwise they, not knowing the value and usefulness, would trample upon them. He is an all-sufficient God. He thinks much about us and He confirms this by meeting all our needs in all aspects of our lives. We are the representatives of God. Man may still behave ignorantly. When he said he will be glorified in the world, he was stating the obvious. SUPPOSING GOD WAS TO CRASH-LAND, WILL HIS ENEMIES OR OTHERS ALLOW HIM TO LAND SAFELY? BUT AFTER ALL HOPES WERE LOST, THE REDEEMER, THE COMFORTER, THE SAVIOR HAS ARRIVED IN SECRET. HE HAS COME AS THE SON OF MAN, THE SON OF GOD, AND GOD HIMSELF AND AS THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ONE ENTITY.From Adam through the angels, the children of God, the prophets, they are all complete and they are right here. Christ is here, the Father is here, but do we know him? Now that you do not know Him, does that stop God from existing or from manifesting His will? No one knows Christ, or John. None believed in them. That is why you are told

that you should not come in here to request for power, money, wealth, wife, children, etc. This is because God knows you well. You need not ask. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS TO SURRENDER TO GOD. IF GOD DOES NOT DO ANYTHING OR SEND PEOPLE OUT, OR SEEK FOR YOU, NO ONE ELSE DOES IT, NO ONE CAN SEE OR KNOW HIM. NO ONE ELSE CAN SAVE YOU. YOU SHOULD LET THAT PREVIOUS FOOLISHNESS PASS YOU BY.Science, education, knowledge, government, money, technology, and man’s fabrication cannot save us. Only the Father alone helps us, the Father alone saves us. You can count all the Patriarchs from Adam, Aggripa, Pharaoh, none of them was able to save. Now read the Golden Text.

Golden Text: Matthew 11:11Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.Brethren, do not seek for glory, praises, gifts and power from the hands of men. In fact, do not look for anything from any man. ANY THING FROM GOD IS THE BEST, THE TRUTH. ALL THINGS FROM GOD WILL ENDURE. BUT

ALL SHAKY THINGS WILL BE UPROOTED. You heard about men of affluence and power and influence, but now Our Lord Jesus Christ has confirmed the only two personalities to reckon with. THESE ARE JOHN THE BAPTIST AND OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. There has never been any greater than John, but the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater. AS PEOPLE HAVE GONE AROUND TO FAR-FLUNG PLACES, INITIATING THEMSELVES INTO SECRET SOCIETIES AND CULTS, ENGAGING IN THE WORSHIP OF IDOLS, SO THAT THEY MAY BECOME POWERFUL AND FAMOUS, DID JOHN INITIATE HIMSELF INTO ANY SECULAR ARRANGEMENT. John came neither drinking nor eating nor womanizing. John led a life devoid of vanities. John, a handsome young chap, forsook women, he abstained from the luxuries of life, because of these abstinences he became the greatest of ever born of women. Who else excelled? Now the subject which I emphasize is Sanctity and Celibacy. How many children, even adults have we got on the list of those who are chaste and celibate? John did not have even a loin cloth. Look around, who is like John? He did not live in a house; he went about almost naked, sojourning in the wilderness. John did not eat the so-called delicacies. He completely abstained from

these worldly glories.Since then till today, mention even one person who is comparable to John the Baptist. But in your case, all your thinking is on money, women, luxuries of life, wealth, modern cars, nice houses. Who else aside from these two spiritual personalities has been able to live above these mundane glories of this decaying world? ONLY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST BECAUSE HE CAME TO GIVE HIS LIFE AS A RANSOME AND HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO IS THEREFORE GREATER THAN JOHN THE BAPTIST.PARENTS WILL LOVE THEIR CHILDREN BUT THEY WILL NEVER LAY DOWN THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR CHILDREN’S SAKE. BUT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST SURELY DID LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR MANKIND. HE EVEN HUMBLED HIMSELF TO GIVE UP HIS LIFE TO RESCUE US FROM POVERTY, PERILS AND DEPRIVATION. CHRIST IS OUR LORD, HIS LOVE IS GREAT, HE IS THE ONE WHO BROUGHT LOVE TO THE WORLD WHICH HAS CONSEQUENTLY CHANGED US COMPLETELY FROM THE STATE OF LUSTFULNESS AND LIFE FULL OF AFFLICTIONS TO A LIFE OF AFFECTION OF THE FATHER, SO WE CAN BE LIKE CHRIST. THAT IS WHY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST SAID, EXCEPT ONE IS BORN AGAIN ONE WILL NOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

Here is the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, as a stocktaking exercise, who is like John, even in the whole world? None is like him. This is our target, our ultimate goal, the kingdom of Jehovah God and His Christ. Apart from God sending down his person, no human being could tackle the issue of lustfulness. John did overcome this lust. Think of the beautiful damsel, beautiful buildings, the glory of the world, but none of these enticed John. He disentangled himself from these worldly desires, but he devotedly gave his life to God.On your part, if you do not forsake mundane wealth, and desist from fornication, if you do not stop eating fish and meat, and disentangle yourself from the affairs of the world, how will you be able to serve God? If you do not surrender completely to God, and become patient, merciful, humble, kind, etc, constantly looking for the good of others, how will you receive goodness, salvation, and plenty from God?Since creation, this Christ our Lord has been the person to look for the good of others. He gave His life for the salvation of others. You have realized what virtues these two eminent persons came with. They came looking for the good and salvation of others, depriving themselves of the luxuries and conveniences

of life.Presidents, millionaires, governors, royal chiefs, reverends, doctors, these are all empty titles. The qualities required are as follows: looking for the good of others. But if you do not forsake the glory and pleasure of this world, it will be impossible for you to seek for the well- being of others. Seeking for the comfort of others is the next higher stage. The ability to practice these virtues come from God. And we must as a rule accomplish this. The Father does not wish to be tedious unto you. Those who have ears to hear, let them hear.
