HOW SHALL THEY PREACH, EXCEPT THEY BE SENT?Romans 10:15, "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How
beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of
good things!"It is interesting that God calls the feet beautiful. Godould have called the lips beautiful, or the mouth; but He
aid the feet are beautiful. Why the feet? Because it is
with ones feet that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is carried
o a needy world.
Throughout the Bible there is a mandate to GO, and
we have gone. Direct contact with the children has
roven to be one of the most powerful ways to
ommunicate our hearts and Gods love to them.nointed ministry like this is life changing and creates a
ohesiveness with the workers and children that is
mpossible to get without being there and touching them
ersonally. Ministering one-on-one has an impact like
othing else we do.
Over the years those who have gone with us have
een a blessing to the children and have been blessed
themselves. They come home changed by their
experiences and become real champions on behalf of
the children and the ministry of God Loves Kids. We
invite you to come with us if you are led by God to do
so.
To go forth into the most remote places in the wor
and preach the Gospel of Grace and Peace, we must
have the funds to pay for the airfare, lodging, food, ga
and many other expenses necessary to travel. Yourfinancial contribution would make it possible for us to
GO FORTH. If you want to send a donation for trave
please designate that it be used for the Travel Fund.
For The Children,
Phil Phillips

In 2012 God Loves Kids will
be making two trips, one to
India, Nepal and Nagaland
and the other to Rwanda and
Uganda.
You can help make a difference!
God Loves Kids ministers to children
who without our help would face a life that
is hard for most of us to imagine without
seeing it firsthand. Most of the children who
come to us have faced the hardships of
extreme neglect and abandonment,
immense poverty and hunger, and lack of
education and care. Every day we have
more children who need help.
As a mission trip participant, you will
provide hope to children who have already
lost so much, also help prevent at-risk
children from losing the little they have. You
will be a steward of Christ ministering in thewords of Matthew 25:40:
Truly, I say to you, as
you did it to one of the
least of my brethren, you
did it to me.
The sharing of yourself with these
children will bring grace upon their lives. As a mission trip participant, you will help
God Loves Kids provide hands that minister
and protect children from extreme,
unfathomable difficulties - allowing for a
bright future for children who have very little
hope without us! Together, we can share
the love and grace of Christ and make an
eternal difference in their lives.
We are also depending on you to m
a difference by helping us communicat
God Loves Kids story to your family,
friends, church and community. Both d
the trip and after you get home, God L
Kids needs champions who will help us
motivate people to help the children.
In order for our teams to travel and
minister affectively, the available space
these trips is extremely limited. We are
opening these trips up to a maximum o
eight people who will work with Lovie
Phillips and the God Loves Kids team.
The trip to India in May will begin b
going to one of the most remote and
beautifully breath taking places on eart
We will be ministering at Moravian Mis
School which is located in Leh, Ladakh
very secluded part of India, high in the
Himalayan Mountains. It is the most re
region in the country, where travel to th
school is only possible 5 months out o
year. We will then travel on to Nepal, th
poorest country in Asia, to the Nepal
Childrens Home, and then on to Naga
Mission School in Nagaland, India.
The trip to Africa will be in Septem
and will include a stop at all of our sch
in Rwanda and Uganda. If you are
interested in going with us on one of thtrips, please indicate it on your respon
form or call our office. We will be happ
send you all the details!
GOD LOVES KIDS
God Loves Kids mission
statement is Communicating
Christs Compassion to the
Children of the World.
We (you and I) do that bygiving them food where there
was hunger, education where
there was ignorance, health
where there was disease and
the love of Jesus where
there was despair. Your gift
is a tangible sign of your
commitment to God Loves Kids
children and a fulfillment
of our mission statement.

"Then the King will say to those on
s right, 'Enter, you who are blessed by
my Father! Take what's coming to you in
his kingdom. It's been ready for you
nce the world's foundation.
And here's why:
I was hungry and you fed me,
I was thirsty and you gave me a
rink,
I was homeless and you gave me a
oom,
I was shivering and you gave me
othes,
I was sick and you stopped to visit,I was in prison and you came to me.'
"Then those 'sheep' are going to say,
Master, what are you talking about?
When did we ever see you hungry and
eed you, thirsty and give you a drink?
nd when did we ever see you sick or in
rison and come to you?' Then the King
will say, 'I'm telling the solemn truth:
Whenever you did one of these things to
omeone overlooked or ignored, thatwas me-you did it to me.'
In our western
culture we are taught
to be as efficient as
possible and to be good
stewards of our time and
money. Following this thinking, we
might be led to believe that
spending money on travel would
not be a wise thing to do.
However, God is relational in all
that He does. He didnt just send a
check or wire funds. He sent His Son, in
the flesh, to dwell among His people.
Personal relationships and physical
presence bless our partners in ministry
and the children in ways that just
sending money cant. As often as
possible we need to do more than
provide meals for the children. We need
to sit down and break bread with them.
The latter is a picture of the Kingdom
and much more encouraging and
spiritually life-giving. Rather than simplyreceiving food, they receive the
encouragement and support of knowing
someone cares enough to show up.
Thats huge!
Our active presence also blesses
us and our ministry staff in the
States. I wish I could recount all the
incredible blessings weve received
simply by spending time with thechildren and our workers in India,
Nepal, Rwanda and Uganda. A few
years ago, I was in India four times
in one year and although I was
teaching in Bible colleges and
preaching in churches in the
evenings and on Sundays, during
the week I would visit the schools.
The simple act of just being with them
and ministering to them definitely
encouraged them. So many of the
children are orphans and theydesperately need to feel our love for
them in person. In return, we are
encouraged and energized. Our heart
always to sow the maximum amount o
resources into the childrens lives. We
come home and testify of Gods
goodness, power, and grace which in
turn strengthens the Body of Christ.
No ministry funds that aredesignated to be used for the children
projects ever go to pay for travel. We
raise money specifically for travel and
the team of volunteers raises their own
support. Could we save money by not
going? Not in the long run. For the hea
of the ministry, we should go more and
take more people with us. Everyone
knows that man shall not live by bread
alone. There is a huge need for someo
to go in His name, touch with His hand
speak His words and wrap His arms
around them and bless them in His
name. Our God is big enough to provi
the resources needed to carry out the
ministry to which we are called by
allowing our sponsors to help us to GO
