The GOETHE-INSTITUT HAMBURG is located at the main train
station, not far from the Binnenalster lake and the Kunstmeile
museum cluster. Our customer service team will be pleased to meet
with you to discuss your individual learning goals and needs. Our
institute has 10 fully equipped classrooms. In the media resource
center, learners have access to an extensive collection of
state-of-the-art learning materials. The lounge is a pleasant
setting to relax and enjoy conversations with other course
participants.

Lesson timesMonday Friday, 8:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. or 1:30 6:00
p.m.*1 Youll learn in a group for approx. 4 weeks, either in a
morningor afternoon course, depending on the institute you choose
and the course level. There are 12 possible starting dates spread
over the entire year. This will enable you to develop your language
skills and combine any number of courses to create a systematic
language-learning program. At the start of your course we will ask
you about your individual learning goals and follow up with ongoing
support during the learning process. This results in tight
integration of the classroom lessons, selfstudy activities and
practice. At all levels you also have the option of taking one of
our examinations, which are recognized around the world. The
Intensive 4 courses are based on the Common European Framework for
Languages, and each course builds on the content of the previous
