What people are saying about Wescott:

"I have played about every course in the area this year, andWescott has been hands down the best all around course.Fairways, greens and bunkers have been in great shape everytime I have been there. This course has 27 holes and has theperfect challenges on every hole for beginners or the avid golfer. The staff is always friendly. We played there this past weekendand will be a memorable experience for my partner who got hisfirst hole in one on number 4 on Black Robin. If you have not hadthe opportunity to try out Wescott, you are missing out on one ofthe best hidden gems of the Charleston area.”

Wescott Golf Club

Wescott Golf Club is located in the heart of the low-country, just minutesfrom Charleston International Airport, historic plantations andgardens, and beautiful beaches.

Course architect Dr. Michael Hurdzan designed this 27-hole course with histrademark environmental sensitivity. Set among centuries old live oaksand built on one of the lowcountry’s oldest plantations, the designcaptures the traditional flavor of low flowing earthworks and classicbunkering.

Each hole is separated and framed by vegetation and natural wetlands. The three 9-hole courses are Oak Forest, Burn Kill, and Black Robin. Eachpresents players with a different feel and look. Oak Forest offers widefairways and subtle greens, and only the occasional hazard or penalbunker. Burn Kill requires a slightly more accurate tee shot for the bestangle into the immense and most undulating greens. Black Robin is a shotmakers paradise with a premium on accuracy and the ability to shape yourshots through tree lined fairways to well guarded greens.
