• Ifyouarebuyingdriedcranberriesorjuice,checkforaddedsugars.Somearesweetenedwithfruitjuice,butmanycontainalotofextrasweeteningthatisworthtryingtoavoid.

CranberrySconesIngredients 2 cups flour ½ cup sugar 1 Tbsp baking powder 2 tsp poppy seeds pinch of salt 1 stick butter 1 egg ¼ cup milk, and a splash ¾ cup cranberries coarse sugar for topping Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, poppy seeds and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold butter, add 1 beaten egg, ¼ cup milk, and cranberries. Shape into one big ½ inch thick disk on a baking sheet, score into 8 wedges. Brush with extra milk, sprinkle with coarse sugar. Bake at 375 F until golden, 25 minutes. Cool, slice, and enjoy!
