Good Morning!Friday, 12/10
Your “Modeling Transpiration” lab was scheduled to be turned in today.
Hang on to them until Tuesday, I will collect them when I return (lucky ducks if you did not get it finished!).
Collect your data & make observations.
Don’t forget to water your plants!! Adding water is a control variable you
should be considering. Make sure you add the same amount of water to each of your plants.
STEP 5: Data Collection
3-D LEAF MODEL 5th period – Take out your
3-D leaf model that you have completed so far.
6th period – pick up the cut outs to make a 3-D model of a leaf.
3-D LEAF INSTRUCTIONS Cut out the leaves on both pieces of
paper. You should have 2 leaves: Wait to cut out the arrows!
Set the leaves on top of each other so it looks like 1 leaf.
Fold over the top leaf at a diagonal
3-D LEAF INSTRUCTIONS
Draw a line on the leaf where the top leaf is folded over

3-D LEAF INSTRUCTIONS
Notice how the oxygen and carbon dioxide arrows are going through a stomata in the dermal tissue of the leaf? If you need help with
this, have Mrs. C or Mrs. L help you make those cuts.

Hang onto it until next class – I want to see them!

PASS BACK PAPERS When you finish, ask the sub if you can
help pass back papers to the rest of the class.
Organize your papers in your binders MEANING – put them in the correct divider
