1. Craft an eye-catching mini-bio for your hovercard

2. Put a great keyword-oriented description in your introduction, all of your contact details, and links to your most important online properties

3. Use the photostrip beneath your headline to display images that best represent you & your brand

4. Create a prioritized list of suggested circles where others can place you at the top of your “About” tab

5. Instead of posting photos in the photostrip, consider images that provide helpful, insightful facts & figures about your industry

6. Not many of “your” people on G+ yet? Use this as opportunity to become thought leader in a space where your competitors may not yet be

7. Use G+’s unique features to give your audience something they can’t get on Facebook or Twitter
