Introduction

The purpose of this document is to present to you an exact illustrated step-by-step guide on using Google Nemesis. You can use this guide as a ‘work along’ in setting up your first campaigns – just follow each of the steps and by the end of the document you will have your first campaign set up. If you have not already done so, it is important, before any reading further that you watch all of the videos you received with your membership. The importance of this cannot be stressed enough. Please do not skip watching the videos – as they will give you an excellent overview of Google Adwords and ClickBank and will make working through this step-by-step guide much quicker and easier to understand. Ok, as stated the purpose of this guide is to take you through the correct process of setting up a campaign from start to finish using Google Nemesis and the Shadow Elite Indicators for product selection. The steps are laid out in the order that they should be performed so please follow each one through and tick off each one as it is completed. The document is divided into four main sections:

SECTION 1 – Finding a Product and Keywords Step 1 – Create Your ClickBank Account (Note if you already have a ClickBank account you can skip ahead to Step 2) In order to be able to promote products from ClickBank (one of the leading sites for affiliates and vendors) you must have an account. If you do not already have an affiliate account go to Clickbank and set your account up now. It is free to join and the sign up process is instant. Go to http://clickbank.com - this is the page you will arrive at:

At the top of the page you will see the link to ‘Sign Up’. Click on this link and you will be taken straight to the sign-up page (see below):

Remember it is free to set up a ClickBank account and you must have one in order to be able to promote products from ClickBank. NOTE: Your account name also referred to as ‘nickname’ will be visible to others when they purchase products from you. So choose wisely and sensibly because once it is created it cannot be changed. Once you have completed the sign up process click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page and your account will be created. You will also receive a confirmation email from ClickBank. That’s all there is to it. Now we have created ClickBank account we can get on to the next stage of finding a product within ClickBank’s Marketplace to promote. Step 2 – Research Products and Keywords Go to the ClickBank home page - we want to look at the marketplace for products to promote – note: you don’t have to be logged into your ClickBank account to research the Marketplace – just go to http//www.clickbank.com and click the ‘Marketplace’ link at the top of the page (see below):

Once you have arrived at the Marketplace page you are ready to start your search for suitable products to promote. The Marketplace gives you options that you can use to define your search. If you click on the drop down menu of the Category menu you will see a list of the various categories available.

Once in the ClicBank Marketplace you can select a category to research products in a particular niche. I would advise you to do this simply because products within that niche will then be displayed together on the same page making your production selection/elimination easier and faster. For this guide I am going to look at the Registry Cleaner niche. The process I am going to go through in the following steps is the exact same process for any niche you wish to research. Ok let’s get started. Go to the ClickBank Marketplace and enter your search criteria -

You will see from the image above I have entered my search criteria into the search box at the top of the page for the niche I wish to research:

- Category = Computing & Internet - Keywords = registry cleaner - Sort by = high gravity – (don’t worry about gravity at the moment we

will come on to this shortly). Hit the ‘Go’ button and all products within those criteria will be returned for you to look through as in the above illustration. You will see that under each product, detailed in green is specific information about each particular product:

Briefly we are interested in the following stats: $/sale – This is the dollar amount you will earn per sale of each product. Ideally, seek out products with at least a $25 commission payout. %/refd – This is the percentage of sales that have been referred by affiliates. Generally speaking you should choose products with a %/refd of 70% and above. Grav: This is an indicator of popularity of success with affiliates promoting the product. Look for gravity of between 10 and 200. After checking for the above criteria and reading through the sales pages I have selected two products.

1. Registry Easy 2. Error Nuker

Note that Error Nuker is below our recommended %/sale of 70% commission payout. It is good to point out here that these figures are guidelines for you to follow, not set in stone – see the following example: If you go to http://www.cbtrends.com – you can search the sales performance trends of ClickBank products. Whilst some of the other registry cleaners met our selection criteria, a quick check up on CBTrends showed that for some products affiliate sales were in the decline so not a good sign. Whereas, Error Nuker, showed an increase in affiliate sales – see below:

So use your judgement here – whilst the commission amount was not quite 70% the fact that the product shows increasing affiliate sales against other products with decreasing affiliate sales makes this my preferred choice of product even if the other products had a slightly higher payout commission. As did our other chosen product – Reg Easy – see below:

Whereas the number one product on the ClickBank listing for this niche RegCure with a huge gravity shows declining affiliate sales – see below:

Declining gravity is a very negative sign – always see out products showing an increase gravity. To do this check up go to http://cbtrends.com

Click on the ‘Search Products’ link at the top of the page to get here:

Enter the category and keyword in the search box to bring up relevant ClickBank products and click the ‘Stats’ link to check out the gravity trend of a product (you will need to scroll down the page to check the gravity graphs). You can of course choose three or four products but no more than that for a review page – in fact some review pages have 5 or more. I don’t recommend this simply because you risk the chance of losing a potential customer by offering them too much information in turn making it more difficult for a potential customer to make a purchasing decision. Step 3 – Generate Keywords Next we need to generate a list of 10- 30 keywords to promote our chosen products on a review page.

To do this head over to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal which is Adwords free keyword tool. Alternatively you can use Keyword Spy http://www.keywordspy.com an excellent keyword tool that offers a free search facility but the number of results generated are limited – that said the free search facility is ample for quick and simple keyword research. You can read more about keyword research in the Shadow Elite Report included with your membership. So using the Adwords free keyword tool - https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal (or Keyword Spy http://www.keywordspy.com, whichever you choose) type in the URL of the product you want to promote to get a quick list of keywords:

Alternatively you can perform a search by keyword which will give you another set of keywords to work with.

From the keywords returned we need to select the top 10-30 and check each keyword for ads running on Adwords. For example, from the above search the keyword phrase ‘registry cleaner’ was returned in the results. So you need to go to Google and perform a search on ‘registry cleaner ’ and check out if there are any review sites being advertised on the sponsored listings (pay per click listings).

Our keyword research returned the following results: In the top 6 listings there are 5 advertisers with review sites which suggest that this indeed is a profitable niche and profitable keyword to advertise on. Let’s try another keyword that was returned: top registry cleaner

Again, after performing a search on ‘top registry cleaner’ we find that in the top 6 listings there are 4 review sites. In addition to this there are at least 3 urls that are advertising on both keywords. Repeat this process for your top 10-30 keywords and check for advertisers running review pages – ideally any keyword with at least two advertisers running review sites on a keyword should be kept in your keyword list.

Again refer to Shadow Elite Report for more detailed information on how to do this. Finally, include “product genre” keywords or “brand name” keywords in your list. Since product and/or brand name keywords are highly targeted there is no need to run Shadow Elite analysis on them. IE. If a visitor has searched the keyword phrase ‘regcure’ this is exactly what they are looking for and hence highly targeted. In this case brand names for our chosen products would be: Reg Easy Error Nuker Once you have gone through all your keywords following the steps above you should end up with a list of 10-20 keywords. Note: For a detailed guide on Adwords or ClickBank please read either Adwords Miracle or Google Wealth Wizard – both of these guides are included as part of your membership and if you are a newbie I highly recommend a read through of both guides. Before moving onto Section 2 you should have chosen your product(s) and keywords using the Shadow Elite Indicators discussed in this section. These steps need to be completed before you start to create your Review Page which is covered in the next section of this document. SECTION 2 – CREATING A REVIEW PAGE USING GOOGLE SLASHER

This section is going to take through the stages step-by-step of creating a Review Page working with the products selected in Section 1. Again, the process here is exactly the same for any niche product you wish to create a Review Page for. Step 1 Log into Google Slasher with the email and password you signed up with:

After you log into Google Slasher the first thing you need to do is to click on the profile link at the top of the page:

This will take you to the Profile screen where you will need to enter your details including the ClickBank Nickname and Password that you received with your ClickBank registration. This information is completely confidential and sent directly to our servers so that we never have access to it. But it is important to enter the information in order to retrieve stats for analysis.

Click on the Save button to save your information and then click on the Dashboard tab at the top of the page which will take you to the Create New Campaign set up link:

In the Set Up a New Campaign Screen enter the Campaign Name and the Description. Keep it simple, the information you enter here is for you to be easily able to identify your campaigns and will only be seen by you. For my campaign name I have entered – Registry Cleaner For the description I have entered – Review page for registry cleaners.

Once you have entered the Campaign name and Description click on the Create Campaign button to take you to the next screen: A message to the left of the screen will confirm that you campaign has been successfully created. From here click on the Dashboard link to see your campaign(s) listed.

In the screen shot below we can see that our Campaign – Registry Cleaner is listed and there is also a link to create the actual review page for the campaign.

Click on the prompt to create the review page for your campaign to take you to the next screen. Here simply select from the drop down menu the category for your campaign – for this I have selected ‘Computing & Internet’ with the sub category of ‘New Products’. On the same screen you have a choice of templates depending on whether you are promoting 2 or 3 products. In this example we are promoting 2 products so select the template screen for 2 product templates in red tones.

This will take you to the next step.

So far we have selected category for our campaign and also selected our two product template. The next step is to select out two products from ClickBank and enter the products into the template. So from the screen above in the Category drop down menu select Computing and Internet and in the Keyword box enter Registry since we are promoting two registry cleaner products and we want to select the ones we researched earlier. Click on Search Market and a list of ClickBank products in that Category will be listed. We simply need to select our two chosen products from this list – See below:

To make the selection click on the ‘Select this product’ link and it will be automatically entered into your template information:

Our top product is Error Nuker and shows the vendors ID (errornuker) Our second product is Reg Easy and shows the Vendors ID (regeasy). Note: if you make a mistake and select the wrong product just click on the Reset button above and go back make your product selection again. Once you are happy with your product selection click the link at the bottom right of the screen to go ahead and start editing your page:

First enter the information for your page at the top of the edit screen. You can see that I have entered my page name – which will appear in the URL for this page and also I have entered the Title, Description and Keywords for this page. (Make sure you have watched the videos included with your membership for a full overview and understanding of this section.) Next we move on to editing our page template. This is very simple. If you place your mouse over any of the text i.e ‘Enter Summary text here’ it will allow you to edit this area. So let’s do it… just click on any of the text to edit it. To choose another graphic just click on a graphic to bring up a menu of other graphic choices.

And that is it! Remember to edit the text simply place your mouse over a text area and enter into your own text. Likewise with the graphic images, click on any and you will be presented with a menu of other images to choose from. NOTE: I discuss what to actually write for your review page in my “how to create the ultimate review page” video which you can grab from the members area. I strongly suggest you watch that video at least once.

SECTION 3 Launching Your Campaign on Adwords The scope of this document does not allow for a detailed overview of Google Adwords. However, if you are completely new to Adwords or need a better understanding of how it works – you should read the Adwords Miracle Guide and the Google Wealth Wizard guide that is included with your membership. If you are a complete beginner, I would recommend you start with Google Wealth Wizard – and if you are familiar with the basic ideas of Adwords, check out my Adwords Miracle. These are both excellent guides and will give you a thorough overview of how Adwords and ClickBank work, how to set up accounts and how to get the best from them in your campaigns. If you don’t have an Adwords account go to https://adwords.google.com/select/Login and sign up for your account – the sign up process is quick, easy and straightforward and is completely free to set up.

Once you have set up your account you can then create your campaign using the keywords we researched earlier. For your campaign you should have between 10-30 keywords to start out with from the indicators we identified in Section 1. The URL for your review page is the link you received after completing your review page. Alternatively, click on the link to your Review page to call it up in a new browser window, then highlight the URL and copy ready to insert into your Google Adwords campaign. You will need to enter this URL into the destination URL in your Adwords campaign.

You can quickly and easily create your ads by using the templates we have provided for you as quick and easy examples for you to use and work from. These are provided in our Template Adwords Ad Report. Again, I highly recommend reading the Adwords Miracle guide for a step-by-step guide to setting up a campaign in Adwords.

SECTION 4 – Interpreting Google Slasher Data Once you have launched your campaign you will want to start paying close attention to the data in Google Slasher that is collected as visitors click through to your site. Log into Google Slasher and from your home screen you will see a list of campaigns you have running. Our example below shows the campaign we set up earlier:

Click on the pie chart to access the raw data for your campaigns. Since we have just launched this campaign we will look at the example used in the training video which already has data:

For each keyword that you bid on in your Adwords campaign the following data is returned for analysis by the Slasher: Visits: That is the number of visitors to your page. Sales % - The % percentage of those visitors that have made a purchase from one of your affiliate links on that page. Exit % - This is the number of visitors that have clicked on your Adwords ad and arrived at your site and then also clicked on one of the affiliate links on your page to visit a vendors site. Avg time spent – This is the amount of time a visitor has spent on your page. Once we start getting clicks on ads and the data is retrieved by the Slasher we can look at indicators from the above data which will give us early information on the hot keywords most likely to return a profit and whittle away those that look unlikely to be profitable over time. We can start analysing data even before any sales come through just by looking at the Exit % data and the Avg time spent data: If the Exit % is high in comparison to other keywords it means that people are not only searching on this keyword and clicking through on your ad but they are also clicking through on the affiliate links on your page. This is a very good indicator because it means that visitors are interested enough in your page, your product offering to check out the vendor page. Avg time spent again is a good indicator to see if a keyword is likely to perform well. If a visitor avg time for a particular keyword is more than other keywords than this indicates that a visitor is interested in your page and affiliate products. And often there will be a correlation between Exit % and Avg time spent in that higher Exit% will related to higher Avg time spent for individual keywords. Using this information, we can therefore pick out the keywords that are likely to be the most profitable. If you have lots of keywords you might notice a trend in that ‘brand name’ keywords have the highest ‘exit%’ and ‘avg time spent’. From this data we can also get rid of keywords with low exit% and avg time spent. There are no ‘ideal’ exit% figures or average time spent – these are relative to other keywords in your campaign and to how they are performing. That said, using this data you will very quickly be able to see how keywords are performing and get rid of ones that are not so that you don’t continue to bid on them if they are not proving to be potentially profitable.

Once sales start coming through you can easily see at a glance which keywords are returning sales for you and dump keywords that are eating into your profits by not being profitable.

To Conclude This document is a step-by-step guide to setting up your first review pages with Google Slasher. The process is straightforward and once you have completed it a couple of times you will be able to set up review pages for your campaigns very quickly and easily. Importantly, you will also be able to look at visitors to your site and assess which keywords are bringing them to your site and making sales for you. This is a very crucial part of the Slasher software in that not only can you target high performing keywords and get rid of non performing keywords – using this tool will dramatically slash your ad costs because you are not wasting money bidding on keywords that are not profitable. You will also be able to see trends in different niches before you use up your budget and apply those to similar niches. There is no limit really with this software, and along with the monthly updates included with your membership you will have a head start over 95% of affiliates out there. Finally, please make use of the Adwords Miracle Guide and the Google Wealth Wizard Guide – they are quick to read but will give you a very keen advantage with Google Adwords and ClickBank and if you are a complete newbie you should definitely read these guides before creating your first campaign. Also, you should all by now have viewed the training videos and read the free reports included in your membership and I would recommend you do so before creating your first review page with this step-by step guide it will make the process much faster and easier. And finally, remember, your first review page does not have to be ‘perfect’, what matters is that you take ACTION today – view the videos, read the reports and then dive in and create your first review page. Launch your campaign, set your budget but just get it out there so that you have some data and sales to work with. From there you can progress and each review page that you do will be better – but get the first one out there and watch those first sales come in! Thanks, and enjoy, Chris X
