A total of 121 GPs acquired NGP status in the first year.

Inspired by first years performance, 592 GPs have applied for NGP, which enables 15 blocks and one district to be free from open defecation

Coastal and Malnaddistricts performed well and are on the threshold of becoming ODF districts.
