GPON ONT for Residential Deployment

Zhone's indoor residential 24xx Series GPON ONT is standards based CPE

designed for advanced triple-play deployments in

Fiber-to-the-Home/Premise application. The indoor models in Zhone's

zNID product line of ONT's provide a lower cost alternative to outdoor

ONT solutions. The small package contains many features including QoS,

VoIP, and multicast video support. The series include up to four

10/100/1000Mbps LAN Ports, two POTS Voice FXS ports and one RF

video in a compact enclosure for indoor use.

Supporting industry standard SIP and MGCP voice signaling provides

reliable voice services. Zhone's experience with packet voice ensures

interoperability and support with a large number of soft switches. The

four Ethernet ports can be separated into different services allowing the

configuration of dedicated ports for IP video and data.

Compliant with standard OMCI definition, 2400 is manageable at remote

side and supports the full range FCAPS functions including supervision,

monitoring and maintenance.

The GPON 2400 series can be either wall mounted inside the home or

placed freestanding on a desktop, and can be equipped with a battery

backup for lifeline services.

Indoor Single Family Unit GPON ONT

Zhone's indoor residential GPON ONT are standards based CPE designed

zNID - Indoor GPON ONT

2543 indoor ONT is designed for high performance applications. It

features 4 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN Ports, 2 POTS Voice FXS ports and an

RF video coax port in a compact enclosure for indoor use. 2543 may be

installed as a desktop or, wall mounted and is powered via an AC

Adaptor.

The 25xx GPON ONT family is ideal for triple-play service deployments in

Fiber-to-the-Home/Premise application. Industry standard SIP and H.248

voice signaling provides reliable voice services while Zhone's experience

with packet voice ensures interoperability and support with a large

number of soft switches. The four Ethernet ports can be separated into

with the needs of a small business in mind. T1/E1 circuit emulation over

IP allows traditional circuit services over a fiber network and Gigabit

Ethernet port bring data services into the building.

The 5100 series of Zhone GPON ONT is a standards based GPON ONT

designed for indoor deployment. The 5120 is designed for small business

deployments providing 8 T1/E1 interfaces that use standard PWE3 for
