2010 has been a great year for GPS Insight and many (hopefully all) of our customers.

During 2010 we introduced:

• 12 new dashlets• 11 new Graphs• 10 new alert options• 9 second average hold times• 8 times faster database servers• 7 new free capabilities (to include SMS text messaging, mobile maps, and SMS queries)• 6 new reports (including the fleet utilization and posted speed reports) • 5 Golden new hardware devices [well really black & beige, and one is orange at least]• 4 versions of the new iPhone / iPad apps• 3 major mapping enhancements• 2 thousand percent ROI for some customers• AND A NEW RENTAL PROGRAM TO MAKE IT ALMOST FREEEEEE!!!

Graphing Dashlets

We now offer a more visual way of viewing data such as Speed Violations, Hours of Operation, Idle Time, and Miles Driven in our new Graphing Dashlets. We have plenty more graphs to come for our customers who like to see their fleet’s activity visually. We will highlight each new Graph on our Blog as they become available.

SMS/Email Messaging Dashlet

With the new SMS/Email Messaging Dashlet you can send Email and SMS text messages to your drivers all in one place. New features also include an auto-refresh inbox (previously you had to press “refresh” to get new messages), and now new messages in your inbox show up in red until you click them.

Stop Time added to Location Dashlet

We had a customer request to add a Stop Time option to our Location Dashlet and in less than 5 days it was integrated into our product. When you have a good idea or need the product changed just a bit for your needs — please ask. We have a very configurable product to begin with, but our dashboard architecture allows us to add new capabilities and features/options almost instantly.

If you are thinking about purchasing GPS Insight vs. a competitive product, please know that there is about a 0% chance that the other provider can do this for you like we do. That’s what makes us different!

Remote Panic Switch Capability

We now offer a way to remotely trigger a panic alarm, which would then go to the dispatch/safety personnel instantly. There is a $50 one time hardware cost which includes two wireless keyfobs, a receiver, and a bright LED to let anyone in the vehicle know that the panic switch has been turned “on.” This new option is available immediately, and the service is a free upgrade.

GPS Insight Now Supports Metric

We have a number of companies which have asked for GPS Insight to support Metric vs. English (e.g. Kilometers vs. Miles, Liters vs. Gallons, etc.). We now officially support Metric throughout the site for non-US customers, and for those in the US which prefer Metric. Every place in our solution where Imperial measurements exist, they now support Metric.

New Dashlets and Features

GPS Insight now supports three new hardware options:

• TT-3000 - Our newest trailer/container tracker with a field replaceable battery. The standard choice for the US Military. It works worldwide, and uses satellite communication rather than cellular so it will report anywhere it can see the sky.

• RT-1000 - A “lone worker” satellite-based safety tracker with panic alert, 10 minute tracking capabilities, and configurable message types.

• FT-1000 - A freight tracking device meant for high value shipments. A battery and movement sensor allow this device to operate up to a year to protect your valuables from theft before requiring a recharge. It uses both GPS and E-911 cellular positioning to ensure you can find your asset anywhere within Sprint cellular coverage.

GPS Insight is hard at work on 2011’s new capabilities. You can expect the following capabilities to be available in 2011:
