IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A GPS….. Seek models that have at the least 12 channels.

This allows your system to be picked up by more satellite. This gives clear reception and allow you to pick up info quicker. Those with less channels will take longer to pull up images and the directions you'll need!

Make sure it has at the least 8 Megs of memory in order that you can store additional maps and data. Memory storage permits you to save what you need. If your GPS has less than 8 Megs of memory, you might need to delete other maps. These small troubles could become bigger if you don't purchase the correct gear.

GPS are quite pricy running at about $280, but vary, depending on what you purchase.
