To be a Creative Director, leading a design department to become a creative force in the development of a company’s brand and identity. Languages: Spanish, conversational and written. 2012 - Present Ellison Education Inc. , Lake Forest, CA As an in-house designer, my work process consists of research, concept development, print and web collateral for the Marketing and Product Development departments. I’m part of a team whose main goal is to consistently collaborate with these departments to promote new designers and products to small independent retailers as well as big retailers such as Michaels, Joann’s and Hobby Lobby. Additional design projects include preparing printed sales materials, magazine ads, packaging and print collateral for tradeshows. 2008- 2012 Freelance Graphic Designer, Riverside, CA Concept development and design of logos, print collateral (e.g. business cards, letterhead, brochures), and brand identity for small business owners and e-commerce websites. 2006 - 2011 Insurance Agent, Rancho Cucamonga, CA Generated over $1 million dollars in annual insurance sales in the private and public sectors. Promoted to District Sales Coordinator, supervising and training a team of 8 sales associates in order to reach weekly and monthly sales goals. Awarded 3 Founder’s Awards for Management Excellence. 2000 - 2005 Business Manager, Visit Barcelona Inc., Barcelona, Spain Managed the administrative infrastructure of an internet based rental property company. Assisted with hiring new employees for the sales, web, and hospitality departments. Organized and prepared briefs for meetings with potential property owners. Coordinated the set-up and management of a small London satellite office in 2004. 2011 Art Institute of California A.A. The campaign promotes Sephora’s array of red lipstick products to women ages 18 - 30. Inspiration for this project came from the comic book style artwork of Roy Lichtenstein and 50s pop culture.

An exhibition pamphlet for a specially curated photography exhibition of Annie Leibovitz’s work at the J. Paul Getty Museum. The minimalist layout and negative space was intended to briefly introduce the image, drawing the viewer to the photos without distraction.

Ford MustangCAR Brochure

The brochure showcases the Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang as an exceptional muscle car that can handle even the toughest of terrains. The concept was inspired by old 60s & 70s boxing posters. The brochure invites the car buyer who is looking for excitement and power from their vehicle, to get in the ring and try out the Ford Mustang as an option.

THE ROYAL TREATMENTThe Majesty has a fully automatic transmission, a push button electric start and a hedged 4 stroke engine. Its’ sleek frame and power engine allows the Majesty to rule both the highway and the scenic route royally.

The aluminum die-cast alloy main frame with its’ steel tube subframe is light and rigid for an increased performance and sports handling.

The founder of Pequeño Gigante Films (Small Giant Films) requested a biographical book of his life and the many films he has directed and produced. Since the films are predominantly in Spanish, the concept and layout of the book have been influenced by Mexican culture and iconography.

The postcards were designed to promote Sizzix die-cutting machines and products to bloggers and retailers in the paper crafts industry. The designs for these postcards was intended to portray a more youthful and fun look to the Sizzix brand that would appeal to a growing market of DIY bloggers.

The magazine ad was designed and published for Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. The ad focused on promoting new Christmas die-cutting products for seasonal projects. It’s goal was to showcase how Sizzix® die-cutting products could be used to create Christmas gifts and embellish home decor projects with their products.
