Coca-Cola By: Adrien Chabanne

Coca-Cola was invented in 1863 in America. The person who invented coca-cola was named John Stith Pemberton. Lots of people drink coca-cola. Some people use coca-cola to do experiments. In the world, there are about 1 billion cans drank in a day. John Stith Pemberton lived until he was 57 years old. He was born on July 8, 1831 in Rome, Georgia. He died on August 16, 1888 in Columbus, Georgia. I think he lived a very short time! Anyway, if you like coca-cola, do not drink too much, or else you might have a tummy ache!

Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison invented a Light bulb. It was invented on October 19, 1879 in Melon Park . We use light bulbs to make our houses light at night. Thomas Edison built his own science laboratory at the age of 10. This was built in the basement of his home. Thomas Edison was partially deaf. He developed this problem in his childhood days. He also saved a boy from a runway train.

When the electricity goes into the light bulb it goes through the filament, the filament heats up and gets so hot that it begins to glow and this is what makes the light. If we don’t have light today then we can’t see at night and I can’t play games at night.

Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell is a person who invented the telephone. He invented it on March 10, 1876, in America. Now people use the telephone to call people from anywhere in world, but long ago there was no telephone. So, many inventors tried to make many kinds of telephones, but he was the one who made the most famous telephone. Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3, 1847. His father was a professor named Alexander Melville Bell, and his mother was Eliza Grace Bell, but she was deaf. He also made the first crude metal detector, an airplane called the Silver Dart, the photo phone, an audiometer, a hydroplane and the metal jacket. A metal detector is something that makes sound if metal is near the metal detector. An audiometer is a thing that helps people hear who have a hard time hearing. A Hydroplane is something that can go on water. A metal jacket is used to assist in breathing.

About Lego By:Eeheng

Lego was invented in 1932. Ole Kirk Christiansen invented it. He is from Denmark. He was born in Kilskov, Denmark on February 7, 1958. He died on March 11, 1958. At first Lego’s were only a building toy where you had to build following the instructions but now you can build anything you think. After you build it with instructions using blocks and stickers it becomes a toy car, person, plane, truck or something else.

It is my favorite toy. Lego is sold in more than 130 countries around the world. Lego came from Denmark. Legoland can be found in Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom, USA/California and USA/Florida. This invention has many themes that children choose to play. This invention also includes video games and board games that go by the theme. I like Lego very much.

Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell made the first telephone. He invented when it on March 10, 1876. He was born in Scotland, March 3, 1842. He died in 1922. The bad news was that his mother was deaf. His mother was born in 1856. Before she was married her name was Eliza Grace Symonds. After she was married her name was Eliza Grace Bell. His father’s name was Alexander Melville Bell. The great news was that he made the first telephone on February 14, 1876, and noone knew that he was making it. So, I thought that was very interesting. We use the telephone to talk from far away. Also, you don’t need to go to other places like America if you want to talk to someone from there. It also doesn’t cost a lot of money. Later, Alexander Graham Bell went to Boston for the opening of a school, where he saw Mabel Hubbard. Mabel Hubbard had two sons and two daughters. Both her sons died at a young age, and that made Mabel Hubbard so sad. Alexander Graham Bell tried to work quickly because other people were also trying to make

the same invention. I thought that he worked really hard. If I had the diary of Alexander Graham Bell, I would know what he feels. If I saw Alexander Graham Bell, then maybe he would nicely give it to me. By: Mami Sugiura

INTERNET

By: Michael Wang

I’m going to tell you some information about the internet. Tim Berners-Lee invented the internet. Tim Berners- Lee’s parents are Conway Berners-Lee and Mary Lee Woods. It was invented in the 1950s in London, England. They use the internet for working, playing games and other things. I think the internet is important because if you can’t go on-line your life will be a lot harder. You can’t talk with other people on-line if you don’t have internet. Most people now use the internet. This is why I think the internet is so important. About 25 percent of the world’s populations use the internet. The internet is popular because it is easy to use.

Lego By Ray Chang

Lego’s were invented in 1932 in Denmark by Ole Kirk Christiansen. Children have used them to play with for a long time and we continue to play with them today. Every year about 19 billion Lego bricks are made and sold. Children around the world spend 5 billion hours a year playing with Lego bricks. Lined up end to end, the number of Lego bricks sold yearly would reach more than 5 times around the world. There record for there biggest Lego castle build is around 400,000 bricks. I am glad that Oli invented the Lagos so I can play with them today.

I’m going to talk about tea. The inventor of tea was the Chinese Emperor Shen Nung. It was invented in 2737 BC. People drink tea to relax. Tea is also a good choice if you’re looking for calorie-free drinks. Tea boosts your metabolism. In just one year, drinking five cups of tea everyday can help you lose up to eight pounds. Shen Nung was born in the 28th century. He’s from China and he’s a farmer. Some tea is healthy for your body. Tea contains antioxidants. Tea protects your bones. Both black and green teas are made from the camellia saneness bush and have similar quantities of antioxidants and caffeine. Iced tea was born at the St. Louis World’s Fair. It was made by putting ice inside tea.

Tony Fadell: The iPod Maker (Anthony) Tony Fadell is the name of the man who invented the iPod. The iPod was invented on October 23, 2001. The iPod came from America. If you like to listen to music, you can listen to it even if you are outside. You don’t even have to worry about it breaking if you want to listen to music outside. The iPod was Tony Fadell’s first invention. In France, it is illegal to play your iPod louder than 100 decibels. The most expensive part of an iPod to produce is the touch screen, at $35. There are more than 100 million iPods in the world. I hope that I have helped you learn more about the iPod. By: Victoria Lee

Tony Fadell invented the I pod. It was invented on October 23, 2001. It was invented in America.

We use it to listen to songs. So you can wear it anywhere you go even during running. You can also play games with it. There are three kinds of I pods and the original I pod was the biggest. I pods are very useful. The first I pod was released in 2001. In France, it is ileagal to play your I pod louder than 100 decibels. The world most expensive I pod costs $231, 776 because it’s made by gold and diamonds. The I pod was Tony’s first invention.

Lasers

By: Wilson Tang The inventors of lasers are Athur Schawlow and Chales Towns. They are from America, and they invented the laser in 1868. Lasers are dangerous because they can burn you, but when you see them you will think they are beautiful. We need lasers to use because they can be your background for your dance on the stage. You can also use a laser harp. Now, I am going to tell you more interesting facts: They used the telescope to see if the laser worked. They also made a lot of things out of lasers. Sadly, both Schawlow and Towns died in 1958.
