A new plan is to be created for each placement. The Plan must be transferred by the graduate into the dedicated online PDP platform at the start of the placement for Manager approval. IT Support inquires, please email [email protected] DIRECTIONS Define 3-4 performance objectives for this placement (maximum of 4). These enable you to set clear expectations around your performance and priorities throughout your 6-month placement. Include: What you will do – objectives, targets, time and measures How you will do it – capabilities demonstrated When creating your performance objectives you are encouraged to reference the following information: Graduate role description Team objectives Your department’s corporate plan and/or business plans Discussions with your manager Values and Code of Conduct Graduate workbook (Diploma course) When creating your performance objectives follow the SMART principles as detailed below.

These are activities you will complete as part of your development against the NSW Capability Framework.
2. When creating your development objectives define which category is relevant:
· Experience: networking, rotations, stretch opportunities in your role
· Exposure: peers, mentors, executive sponsor, manager
· Education: Diploma of Government course, eBooks, journals, short courses, further education
3. Development objectives should consider knowledge, skills, abilities or experiences to further develop capability level or meet performance objectives.

OVERALL PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT (complete at the end of placement)
During the performance review meeting held at the end of the placement, both parties should discuss progress towards the objectives set out, as well as areas of strengths and development noted during the placement.
This section is an opportunity for both parties to formally record these discussions and endorse the Review.
PDPs are then accessible by the next placement manager and assist them to get to know the graduate and define how to support the graduate to successfully complete the Program.
