Experience that we look for• Self evident interest in IT• Willingness and desire to understand distributed systems (Solaris,
Linux serverside, XP/.net client side) any prior experience beneficial• Database knowledge beneficial: Oracle or Sybase desirable• Some experience of applications development (Java, C++) a plus.
Perl/other scripting language beneficial• Deep desire to learn more about investment banking and financial
markets• A willingness to learn new technologies and build a solid
understanding of the business context of the applications• Motivated, ambitious and determined• Ability to work in a high pressure environment

Graduate Remuneration• Basic pay between £30k & £40k plus generous
benefits package
• £2,500 pay rise after 12 months
• £3,500 bonus after 24 months
• Minimum £5,000 training budget for each grad over two year period
