Graduation Rates 2011-12 Institution: CUNY College of Staten Island (190558) User ID: 36C0021 Overview Graduation Rates Overview The Graduation Rate component of the IPEDS survey collects data on the cohort of first-time, full-time, degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates and tracks them for 150% of the normal time of their program to see how many complete. This information is collected as part of the Student-Right-to-Know Act. Data Reporting Reminders Once a student is in the cohort, they remain in the cohort, even if they switch to part-time or drop out. However, adjustments can be made to the initial cohort for exclusions, which include the death of a student, permanent disability, military deployment, or an official church mission. Changes for 2011-12 A column has been added (column 51) to report the number of students still enrolled as of 200% of the normal time to completion of their program. This will provide more information about the status of non-completers.
