• Vocab:

• Quorum – number of persons needed at a meeting in order for business to take place

• Caucus – meeting to further special interests of a group

Plural Nouns

• Never form a plural with an apostrophe.

• Usually, plural nouns are made by adding s.

Irregular Forms

• Add es to make a plural when a singular noun ends in s, sh, ch, x, or z.

• ditch => ditches

• Change y to i and add es when a singular noun ends in a consonant and a y. (Don’t do this if it is someone’s name.)

• supply => supplies
