of petrol engines starts with the incredibly fuel-efficient and perky 65 bhp 1.2. Or you can choose the extra zip of the new 77 bhp 1.4,

with variable turbulence combustion chamber. This unique system enables the engine to re-use a proportion of the exhaust gases,

ESP (electronic stability control) incorporating ASR/MSR/HBA and Hill Holder (standard on the 1.9 MultiJet and 1.4 16v Sporting engines). Passive safety equipment includes two dual-stage front

airbags, side and window airbags (six airbags are standard on all versions except Active, which has two), an energy-absorbing body shell and safety belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters.
