The client was starting a no-kill animal shelter called Vinova Animal Haven of Charlotte and needed full brand-ing. The client came up with the name by combining two Latin words: vita, meaning life and nova, meaning new. I designed a logo, website, letterhead, envelope, business card, and bumper sticker. I custom designed the VINOVA typeface.

Classical music is not boring. Come hearthe Charlotte Symphony in concert andsee how exciting it can be.
The client presents a concert every year to CPCC Music Appreciation students. The client needed a poster along with other branding items. I took an advertising approach with my poster design. After much research, I developed insight as to why people don’t go to symphony concerts. I designed my poster to speak to those individuals who don’t go to symphony concerts because of negative preconceived ideas.

This was academic work creating awareness for the danger of texting and driving. I took a typo-graphical approach because a text is made up of words. The famous “Sticks and Stones” quote was perfect copy for this poster.

The client produces magazines to be sold by homeless and low-income individuals. The client needed a design for the second issue. One of the desires of the client was to have a design that had a lot of white space and large photographs. The client provided all copy and photographs.

The client held a T-shirt design contest for its CIAA Fashion Week. The theme of the design was arts, fashion, and culture. I custom designed the words: ARTS, FASHION, and CULTURE.

This is a T-shirt design that I created as a personal business venture. I also have a Facebook page for individuals to upload pictures of themselves wearing this shirt. I custom designed the JESUS typeface.
