I have decided not to create my children's book using illustrations as it would take me a long time as I don’t find drawing the easiest thing to do and to not even complete a small, not very detailed drawing of Ariel, it took me an hour and a half. Although, I think illustrations would be a nice effect to a childs book but I do not have the time to put detailed illustrations in.

I have chose to do a childrens book and the childrens book I have chosen to do is the danish fairytale, The Little Memaid, by Hans Christian Andersen. I am going to my graphic narrative cartoon style, I decided this after I used the comic book effect on my two pictures of Kylie Jenner and Cara Delevigne, I decided that the this effect wouldn’t be to extreme and wouldn’t fit in with my book. After creating my own illustration, I decided that drawing my pictures wouldn’t be the best idea as after a hour and a half/2 hours my drawing wasn’t even nearly finished.

I have come to the conclusion that for my pictures in my childrens book, I will use rotoscoping on photoshop to create my pictures. I used photoshop rotoscoping on my picture of Kanye West and I think it works really well,

Overall Evaluation

Personally, I think due to my evaluation I have come to the conclusion that I will use rota scoping to create my images, but I’m not yet sure whether I will be using my own images or ones that are someone else's but are slightly different.
