Renishaw has developed a new user interface for customers with Fanuc controls. The aim is to help users to get the maximum benefit from probes, with the minimum of training and support

GUI for Fanuc controls
• The GUI software is accessed via the CUSTOM key• It operates on the control using the Fanuc Macro Executor option• Cycles are compiled and loaded by the machine tool builder, when
the machine is commissioned• Compatible with Fanuc 0i, 16i, 18i, 21i and 30/300i series

Using the GUI software
• Participating Machine Tool Builders may supply the GUI software option Enabled, or Disabled
• If the software is enabled, it should be accompanied with a licence certificate. This licence should be passed to the End User (usually with the machine manual)

Using the GUI software
• Where a Machine Tool Builder has supplied the software on the machine in a disabled state, it will need to be Enabled (unlocked)
• This can be done by Renishaw or by the OEM service staff
• In order to do this, a licence certificate must be ordered from Renishaw
