DIRECTIONS FOR USEBEFORE YOU USE • Mow lawn first to ensure tall grass doesn’t interfere with proper functioning of the spreader.• When applying to warm season turfgrass in spring, wait until after the lawn is actively growing and has been mowed 2 times. Do not apply while turfgrass is just turning green in early spring.• Apply in fall no closer than 6 weeks before the first historical frost date for your area.• Do not apply to Centipedegrass after October 1.HOW TO USE • ADJUST spreader to the proper setting (see Spreader Settings).• FILL spreader.• APPLY granules evenly over the lawn. To be sure you cover lawn areas uniformly, first treat the border of the lawn then fill in the center. • If using a broadcast spreader, make sure each strip overlaps the previous strip to ensure complete coverage. (See Fig A.)• If using a drop spreader, make sure the wheels overlap the wheel marks in the grass from the previous strip to ensure complete coverage. (See Fig. B)• SWEEP, brush or blow any accidentally applied material off driveways, sidewalks etc. back on to the lawn.Apply only to actively growing turf. Do not apply near water, stormdrains or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected.Apply this product only to your lawn, and sweep any product thatlands in the driveway, sidewalk, or street, back onto your lawn.FOR BEST RESULTS• To ensure uniform coverage on your lawn do not spread by hand.• To speed plant absorption, lightly water the lawn after application.• During extended periods of hot (above 90˚F), dry weather, your lawn can become stressed and susceptible to burning. Watering after application is recommended under these conditions.• For sustained feeding apply once every 3 months.
